There's so much he could do with something like that, it's amazing he doesn't. You don't even have to do news with it, you could just do variety type of stuff as long as you find the right people to staff it. Just look at something like Bright Sun Films or Retail Archeology who just explore abandoned places with high production, or just walk around semi abandoned malls with a phone camera.

Yeah. If America faces a real threat then our military would give up the woke crap, stop giving a fuck if a few Marines haze a boot and we'll focus more on actual training than Equal Opportunity bullshit. The culture will the follow since mediocrity will be back on the menu.

No. That would require instilling a love of American values in boots and the public school system has taught Howard Zinn history to them. Back during 9/11, there were enough jingoists and patriots willing to sign up because that time was post 90s. All those people were bled out over 20 years of war. Yup. The US school system and mass media complex has been attacking the people who have traditionally fought our wars for decades. This eventually had a domino effect to where the government and LEGAL system is also treating those people like shit, and it's finally gotten to the point where most of those people have said, "I still love my country but fuck the government and fuck their foreign policy agenda. I don't think they have my or the nation's best interests at heart. I'm not fighting for them."

This wasn't done in a day, and it won't be reversed in one. Plus, to win the trust of working class (primarily white) patriots again, the government and the elites would have to make concessions they aren't willing to make. They'd probably rather let Russie, et al just take whatever they want before they concede to the deplorables. So that's a nonstarter.

Meanwhile, the people on the other side of the culture war, who gave the elites the confidence to do this shit because they have "popular support" are mostly horribly out of shape neurotic losers who have panic attacks when they need to go grocery shopping, many of whom aren't very keen on joining ANY war effort. Their actual numbers relative to the general population are also less than the distorted view mainstream social media's censorship practices and general internet traffic trends would suggest.

In short, the interventionists have fucked themselves over HARD, and they don't have any immediate solution to it. Good.

Wish I could disagree but you're right. CRT is only a symptom of the greater problem that the USA has become fat, retarded, and lazy to the point that any change for the better is going to be a long process that will take at least a generation to have any meaningful effect and not some over night snapback to reality. It's not even just the Left that's an issue, the Right is filled with as much scum as the Left and the majority of people are just retarded at this point. Realistically I don't think there will be some kind of civil war or whatever, but hopefully the country balkanizes into a confederation of states again with a weak federal government and people can decide where to live and businesses can do whatever the fuck they want so that we can actually have real choice in who we associate with instead of all banks, credit unions, etc being under a central government edict to not allow certain people to use their services.

That's my political sperging for the day.

Buying dried beans that have been soaked, cooked, then dried again? I get the appeal if you're backpacking or some similar kind of trip, but the fuck would you buy that for your home supply? Regular dried beans aren't going to spoil. Also, if Tim's so into having large bulks of dried food for emergency, he should build a food dehydrator. It's insanely easy to do, the parts are dirt cheap and you can make TONS of jerky all day every day for massive supplies, as well as pemmican and anything else dehydrated. Given he's out in the sticks, he could easily buy a cow, have it butchered and then turn the whole thing into a huge store of food.

I wonder if Tim has iodine and knows the ratio to sterilize water with bleach? "You must be 21 to drink."
