True. I still find it odd when people with tons of high-value connections do this appeal to Twitter. Twitter is full of absolute bullshit. (which is why I love it) Malice should have texted this to Joe Rogan or walked next door to Lex Friedman. And the person replying has a good point in this. I just read that Ukrainian SpecOps Command publicly stated they will not accept Russian troops surrender, that any captured Russians will be executed. That is a war crime. You can execute spies on the spot, but not surrendering soldiers. I know everyone is supposed to be all in on Ukraine, but the situation is a hell of a lot more muddled than media is willing to concede. Ukraine is not the peaceful, innocent darling that many pretend it to be. The USA and NATO allies have a lot of blame to bear for creating this situation, too. Doesn't justify a Russian invasion, but this isn't madlad Putin randomly deciding to yolo for no good raisin.

He was bemoaning that you can't chase people that are in your community that you don't recognize and then detain them while displaying firearms to intimate your potential use of lethal violence if they don't comply. His justification was that numerous crimes had occurred in the area and the cops hadn't stopped it. Some of the conclusions Tim comes to aren't just dumb, but dangerously lunatic proclamations that have disastrous potential.

Keep in mind this crucial fact set of Arbery trial: the McMichaels did not know if any crime had been committed before they gave chase and they did not know it was Arbery when they gave chase. A neighbor yelled "he went that way, go get him!" and the McMichaels grabbed their guns and chased after an unknown person for no clear reason. There are many causes for bradycardia. I have numerous books filled with various diseases and symptom of bradycardia is probably in a good 40% of them, some have bradycardia and tachycardia. If electrolytes, it would present with other symptoms and be passing in any relatively healthy individual. Doubtful to hypothyroidism either, as more pressing symptoms would present before notable bradycardia. My guess is that Tim is using a fitbit, Apple watch, any other wrist-worn heart rate monitor, which are notoriously shit for accuracy and terrible for detecting resting heart rate. You want either a heart rate monitor that straps around your chest, an automated pressure cuff or go the old-fashioned (most reliable) route and feel for radial pulse while looking at a clock.

Everyone is born with one and they drop off over time for most people. I trust an Actual cardiologist who did an EKG and told me that. Also it was a long long time ago but I'm still alive.
