I still have his videos in my daily feed because when big news breaks I know he'll likely cover it, but fuck is he long winded. I liked his older 12-15 minutes better. He got to the point faster which made him as a source of news better digestible. Now it's just 5-minute long winded intro, 20 minutes of unrelated sperging, with 5 minutes of actual news scattered throughout.

For anyone who listens to him slower that 2x speed you have the patience of a saint.

If I need to listen to a video at higher speed, I don't even bother. I'll find someone that I can listen to that doesn't need to be dubbed like a Muppet to get their point across.

Tim's interesting because there are things he could easily do to not be a lolcow. If he were to male his videos shorter, stop talking about himself, stop using movie references, admit he doesn't know much about subject without his stupid way of doing it, and stop grandstanding, he'd be more bearable. Like today's video is him badly explaining supply side economics and telling the stupid story where he was late for school because of a train

Do you know which episode the Minds one was? I do remember Ian mentioning he was doing moderation in a different episode, which is why he was somewhat pro censorship as he had to go through all of the illegal shit posted on Minds.

The Minds founder's name is Bill Ottman, but he was in multiple episodes, so I'm not sure which one the described event regarding Ian happened in. I do remember Bill disagreeing with Ian's assessment, though.
