Whenever Tim starts listing the same exact things he's listed over and over on what he doesn't like about Trump I immediately close the video. Not because I'm some hardcore trump cheerleader or anything, but because he literally lists things in exactly the same order like he's reading a script every fucking time. That and his voice seems to get oddly smug when he starts doing that (well, more smug than usual).

Rather rich of Kissinger calling Luke a coward for confronting him in person. What Luke should have done was sent a drone or a squad of goons to confront Kissinger while he hid in a bunker and dictated how others should live their lives, that would have been real bravery instead of risking his freedom and health to do it in person like he did.

This is anecdotal, but it feels like a lot of the right wing gifting is an attempt by left leaning individuals to adopt conservative values without becoming Bible Thumpers.
It's painful to watch because it feels like retards trying to reinvent the wheel without making it round.

I can sympathize. A lot of them are old enough to remember Evangelicals going all-out on gay marriage. I'm not a religious man myself, but I find myself increasingly convinced that morality requires a god for the god is the source of universal impartiality. I also consider a strong culture a core component of strong morality, but given the realities of the West, god is a necessary bulwark of culture. Atheists have completely dropped the ball in instill reason and discourse.

I think it's because people get confused with what Conservatism is. A person doesn't need to be religious or Christian to be a conservative. It's really just recognizing that the framework of society, culture and intellectual thought in the West was heavily influence by Christianity, and teaching that connection to others.
Ignoring or downplaying the religious roots in culture creates a disconnect with the past and it then leads to individuals trying to reinvent moral arguments and intellectual concepts that have already been discussed for centuries.

Japan is a good example of a society that's largely secular but doesn't shy away from the fact Buddhism and folk religious makes up the core of their culture.
But like I said its anecdotal and doesn't apply to everyone.
