Someone said this in the thread previously but Tim getting upset at this is blatantly hypocritical. Tim has defended blocking traffic in the past. Now he's saying "oh well, you got your attention. You caused a traffic jam. You can let some people through now."
What about the people who were stopped while the traffic jam was being caused? Why are they somehow less important than this guy who needs to get to work, Tim? Why is any of this acceptable?
Oh, right. Because otherwise, you get political violence, according to you. Never mind that political violence is a crime, never mind that if people devolve into political violence, we arrest them, prosecute them and imprison them. No, we have to
prevent political violence, by tolerating illegally blocking highways. Guess what that is, Tim? That's throwing the lever in your stupid trolley analogy. You are willing to inconvenience all these people on the highway to potentially save the lives and safety of other people who might be beaten in the streets by the same protestors.
