Tim Pool has some really hot takes, don't worry. You just have to listen long enough for him to let his guard down and say what he actually thinks instead of what he carefully steps around saying.
Here, I've even got it time-stamped for you. 6:25
"But I also met with this guy named Gareth Morgan and his wife. They had taken a motorcycle trip through North Korea and the DMZ and we got to see the footage. And they showed us how pretty the country was - or I-I shouldn't necessarily say the country, because Korea is the country, they're just split, you know, in war as it stands".
Now, Tim has said controversial shit before like "I think everyone should have nuclear weapons", but when he does that, usually he's a pedantic asshole about it saying "Here's why my stupid idea is actually true if you redefine words and take things from this perspective". This was not that. This was Tim correcting himself as if you or I had said, "Oh hey, let's go to the bar, they have Trivia Night on Tuesday - oh shit it's Wednesday, isn't it?" Like that. As if stating that North Korea and South Korea are actually one country is a totally normal stance for people to take. I understand that some geopolitical fuckwit might turn around and adjust his glasses saying "Akshually the armistice has been going on for -" blah blah, we get it. But regular people, real on the ground people like Tim claims to be, we know that Korea is two countries. They have the most real, most physical border separating them in the entire world.
When you hear things like this, you start to understand why Tim says shit like this:
Once again, time-stamped for you. 15:00 in, Tim Pool, who is best known for being an anti-war leftist who takes a hard stance against us being in Ukraine and antagonizing Russia, turns around and says that a war with China to protect Taiwan would actually benefit the US economy. Completely out of nowhere, he has never talked about the war and the economy before at all. This clip is so incredibly out-of-character for Tim it actually sounds like he is controlled opposition here. But really, he is just worried that if China expands and takes Taiwan, it will help North Korea conquer South Korea, and he is willing to sacrifice American lives to stop that from happening despite him never living in South Korea and probably never having even visited it. So he's a Korean supremacist, which is likely only exacerbated by the fact that he is a Half-Asian Piece A' Shit. And he has dual loyalties to his homeland, which might explain why he gets particularly ass-mad every time someone talks shit about Jews on his channel as well.
