I really liked the original Iron Man and even Captain America, but all the new shit, even End Game is just stuff. People praised Thor: Ragnorak and I just didn't get it, it felt like a bunch of stuff slapped together with random music popping in.

Tim's whole taste in media seems fucked though, but if he likes it whatever, I just think it's stupid to try to have a political show where he injects his weird pop culture shit when he has a show on his network about pop culture that would probably heavily benefit from him popping in and talking about capeshit or whatever.

I liked it up through 2012, it felt like a lot of it declined afterward, and once they started adapting Civil War and the things that came after it, I was out. The whole Civil War event was when Marvel jumped the shark and never recovered. But I still remember Tim insulting Sam Raimi's Spider-Man even though those movies, at least the first 2, are incredibly good, well-made, and faithful to the comic, instead of poorly written CGI crapfests.

I dropped out of capeshit long before that, probably after the first Avengers movie and then watched a couple random movies. I kind of want to go back and watch the original two Thor movies as I haven't seen them and they kind of sound like the old Hellboy movies which I enjoyed.

Why did Tim insult Raimi's Spiderman? I thought those were fun, but I watched them when they came out so maybe I'd have a different opinion of seeing them today, especially with how dominant the genre is which sours me on the whole thing. Though maybe with the world collapsing we'll get more financial dramas like we did after the '08 crash which I like.

But if we wait until after the midterms, then it might be Kevin McArthy. But Kevin McArthy could nominate Donald Trump as Speaker of the House and thus...Trump gets put back in office.

This is the most retarded thing, and people were saying this when Trump was getting impeached too. What makes anyone think that Kamala Harris has anything to do with any of this? There is zero evidence of that. I thought Tim believed in innocent until proven guilty? Why is he suddenly suspecting Harris of being involved in this discussion with the Saudis that Biden had himself? The president and the vice president don't travel together, that defeats the very purpose of having a vice president if you could assassinate them both at the same time. Even if Harris is guilty, the House won't impeach them. Even if the House impeaches them, the Senate will not. And even if Harris is also guilty, the House and the Senate both convict and remove from office, Kevin McArthy would never back Donald Trump as Speaker of the House.

Tim might as well have spent 2 minutes rambling about the color he was going to paint his chicken coop for all the relevance it has to this situation.

Well, I'll watch it for Stossel, let's see if he can tard wrangle Tim.

The first thing I noticed is Tim is parroting certain statements, so he might be a bit nervous but the whole "I'm not a journalist, I'm a hacker" thing is retarded. Tim, you're not a hacker, neither in the sense of code, nor in the sense of social engineering, you're just a hipster who thinks saying that makes you look cool. Dude just needs to accept he's an influencer personality and play into that instead of larping as something he's not, and there's no shame in being a successful influencer, but there's a lot of shame in larping when you don't need to.

Otherwise it's a decent interview, and Tim seems sane, but it's also apparently an old interview before he went full compound and why he's talking about Bernie and some older topics.
