I thought I'd catch Tim live for the first time in a while and:

Now I get canceling a show if you're the only one on it besides a guest, but it's a panel show where 4 of the 5 seats are your goons and the last 1-2 seats is the guest. You should be able to run this show without Tim, as Adam did in the past, but I'm guessing Tim is terrified of someone saying something to get him deshekeled or worse yet, upstaging him and showing him the show would be better without his constant capeshit references and fictional scenarios he comes up with and thinks are more entertaining than the guest.

I get it's his show and all but when you put it that way (a table fitting 8+ people) you're right. Even Crowder has his guys take over from time to time and he's arguably a bigger spotlight hog and interrupter than Pool is.

Speaking of Crowder, guess his daily wire gayop didn't go the way he wanted did it?

I always perceived Tim as a wee bit of a control freak, so the idea of handing over his flagship show to someone else may be impossible for him.
Probably why he gave Cast Castle to the other Branch Timidians to have, as a creative outlet & video posting option for the rest, while retaining the "serious news" for himself.

Speaking of which, here is something the Cast Castle people put together to tide you over, in case you needed your Ian fix for the day:

Wow, that was shit, even for the shitty B movie style they were going for. Ian really can't act and I'm usually pretty generous to bad acting.

Tim is taking a second day off in a row after losing his voice.
So what happens to all of the scheduled guests, or did they not have anyone scheduled so Tim didn't give a shit anyway?

Quartering's at it again, this time with Seamus

Tim posted this today in the IRL channel's Community tab. I'm guessing this Joe Kent guy was the scheduled guest, and they recorded this with him instead of doing the live show because Tim was sick. The episode is hosted by Hannah and reporter Shane Cashman (of Eliza Bleu fame).

These are the top comments on the Community post. My favorite is the one pointing out that Tim stuck his name in the thumbnail even though he's not even in the episode.

Side note, I randomly thought about what it would be like if Hannah put on the beanie and hosted the show, and I'm realizing with a beanie she would look exactly like this skater girl I had a thing for in high school.

This is somehow gayer than what I expect of Tim, and if I was a guest I'd probably be annoyed I made the trip out just to end up on some side show because one guy was sick on a show that has multiple of his staff members that can easily be operated by anyone.

I mean really now, how does Tim expect to take a more managerial position long term if he can't even let his employees hand a couple nights of the show? No one is going to miss the constant "Hey guys, imagine if Trump found the Infinity Gauntlet, and snapped half the country out of existence but only the Democrat half and he..."

Pim Tool's nadir is that he thinks he knows how to run a company when all he did was create a flophouse. Back when he was good, he was a freelance journalist and didn't have staff, so the only way he can improve now is to become bankrupt and have to go back to his roots.

What I find most baffling about the "Culture War" episode, last night, is that it takes place in the Timcast IRL studio, not the beanbag room that it usually does. All Tim had to do was remove that title card, put it on the IRL channel, & let it be a regular episode.
Just missing the host cutting things off, abruptly, to move to the next story to discuss, or superchats.
Skimming through, it seems like a bog-standard interview with a 2024 U.S. Congressional candidate.

However, Tim must have taken the headphones with him in a fit of pique, leaving them no way to monitor their audio levels. Starting at 18:59, Hannah's microphone fails & no one fixes it until 30:27.

While I am always happy to have a break from beanie breakdowns, it is robbing me of valuable editing practice...So, had to make do.

Reporting in on tonight's episode, Beano did something totally out of left field and had recurring guest Jack Posobiec fill in for him instead of one of his actual employees. "Tim Poso" pretended to be an alternate Tim, wearing the beanie and calling himself the "other Tim." He was joined by Seamus and Ian as cohosts.
Timcast IRL - Timcast IRL - Hunter WALKS As Trump Faces 100 Years In Jail wAnthony Cabassa [PY...png

As you might expect, Tim Poso was a much better host than the real Tim, with much more charisma, and better speech skills. He also, shockingly, let the others speak. Unfortunately the guest was kind of boring and one-note, and the show got boring really quickly because Ian barely said anything (seemed kind of hung over) and the other 3 turned the whole show into "Bible Study Cast" so I checked out around an hour in. Not that Tim doesn't do that sometimes too.

Quartering popped in the chat with probably my favorite chat message:

Also this chat from one of Tim's A-logs who for some reason I've noticed often sends Tim insulting superchats, was pretty accurate:
