What part is defamatory, though? Ties in with Project 2025 (lol) by itself probably wouldn't count (I guess maybe if the lawsuit is in a blue state, but that has its own share of problems), nor is calling them "Trump operatives". I suppose the "to give Trump total, unchecked legal power so they can jail and execute those who don’t support Trump if he wins" part might be, but it also is a reasonable interpretation of what Tim and Laura said (stack all branches, jail, and excexute). Obviously they didn't mean it the way Kamala's campaign did, but that'd be an uphill battle

Tim reminds me of the birds that defend their pit bulls, or XL Bully, citing statistics about chiuhuahuas being more violent, as their precious babies maul people. Only once they themselves are bitten does any realisation take hold, though it is no guarantee. It takes some dramatic blowback/drama emerging before Tim accepts the leftists online are just bad people.
Tim waited until Ian Kochinski (aka Defective Ian, because IRL's Ian is the good one) showed bestiality lolicon hentai, live on stream, before he started being critical of him. Then, it took Steven Bonnell saying all his pro-assassination talk before Tim recognised he was a bad actor. The same happened with the Krassensteins. Even as far back as hiring on Rocco Castoro & Emily Molli, Tim just misses these obvious red flags on how bad these people are.
I did find it funny how he was so critical of the Krassensteins, recently, when talking with Ian, as if he was not just as likely to platform bad faith actors, himself. I give Ian a pass because he is naieve to a fault, & openly admits it. Meanwhile, Tim claims to be so street-smart & intelligent, it comes off as embarrassing when the leftist guest of the day comes out as a loon/degenerate/liar, etc.
I expect this to go the way of the incident with the DeSantis campaign using footage from Elad Eliahu, arguing it was copyright infringement, AKA Tim gets to puff out his chest with no substantive action. Though seeing Tim sink more money into dead-end lawsuits would be a nice outcome.

This can be most easily explained by what Adam Crigler said about the NDA: boilerplate non disparagement shit with a sprinkling of corporate overlord “I own your shit” clauses. Adam said that any material or ideas used for the Timcast brand would be owned by Timcast. Not only the content for your shows produced under him, but the brand, any relevant materials produced (eg, custom camera filters and thumbnail generation guidelines) are all owned by him. If you were take that custom filter or thumbnail guideline with you, he could sue you for breach of NDA. Which is absurdly bullshit and out of the scope for what NDA’s were traditionally designed for, but that’s true for a lot of protections regarding intellectual property. (probably the most nauseating affront is design patents, such as Apple holding a patent for bevels, D670,286 )
One of my nephews is delivering for Amazon and recounted an incident with a pot bull while he was working. The dog was unattended and unrestrained, no fence and no electric fence to keep it on the property.

I watched the clip of Tim talking about free will and it’s some of the dumbest and most pathetic shit. He doesn’t understand the underlying premise and just rants about tangential garbage. There is a great discussion between (iirc) Sam Harris and Daniel Dennett (this was in the aftermath of the Four Horseman talks with Dawkins, Hitchens, Harris and Dennett) about free will that is highly informative. One of the greatest takes from it was Daniel Dennett saying that even though he thinks free will doesn’t exist, it doesn’t matter that much and the ramifications of proving that it doesn’t exist could be disastrous for the psyche of most people, thus it is best locked away in the ivory towers.
The basic premise of determinism is that time moves only forward and, thus, any and every action you take is the only action you ever could have taken. It’s a very dry and heady notion, with a strong underlying of physics, that is often misunderstood or misrepresented in argumentation.
No wonder Tim gave such a shit response. Not only that, but Tim’s 1-minute attention span makes it impossible to listen to anyone making a drawn out and tedious argument. Tim’s thought process is the most elementary of “if this, then that” kind of thinking. He also loves to talk fast, similar to Ben Shapiro, which people equate with being quick witted and intelligent, when it is most often just shallow and knee jerk thinking.
