great point, people forget most of the early JRE episodes were literally made in his house from his couch, he only got a "studio" a couple hundred episodes in and it was still just 100% reliant on his buddy who did all the technical stuff.
why is he so far away from everyone too? i can see hating the DMV, but if you're a political show you sort of have to be close by. at best i'd have thought he could live in Charles Town, which is close enough to VA and Maryland and has enough cool shit there to keep him and his skater bros occupied.

Watched this last night and by far the funniest part was the super fan turned IRL wagie mod sperging all night trying to figure out a way to save his job as the thing he dedicated his whole life to is nonchalantly discussed about getting shut down lmfao.

Here you go, mate. This was quite the clippable episode, so took some time to get them all uploaded, & archives made of the posts & relevant pages. So, you may see things already captured by other posters.
-Tim was seemingly on cloud nine, sharing that he finally got the golden Trump sneakers which he had been eager to acquire. The price tag for these is listed as $499. For a pair of sneakers. I have only seen such a slavish devotion to footwear in women & blacks. Is Tim admitting he has something else in his mixed race identity to be so fixated on fancy sneakers?:

-The following day, Tim made a rather dire announcement, which admittedly gave me a bit of glee, the show may off for the day due to "the studio being fried":

With an announcement like this, I could only imagine what was ahead. Has Ian finally snapped & channeled graphene-enhanced lightning into the equipment? Did Tim try to boil an egg, only to fail because he does not know how to cook, leading to a house fire? Was there a peasant's revolt by the skateboarding scum Tim has been collecting, rising up over insufficient ramp access?
Tim had Dave Landau, comedian & partner to Garrett whom both escaped Steven Crowder's orbit to make their own show, as the guest.
Raymond was the only co-host. Hannah could have been on the show, but he did not want her there.
Throughout this episode, Tim casts aspersions on the work ethic of his employees, but does not name anyone, in specific. But, based upon context clues, you can infer whom he means. Particular ire seems to be dedicated to the side shows & as well as the other projects.
This is a running issue Tim has, which is that he is not a good personnel manager, & either cannot or will not delegate authority to someone to oversee these numerous projects & ventures. Tim repeatedly states how an organisation needs a CEO whom is not hosting the show, yet has made no moves over the past few months to find one. & when the panel proposes it, Tim says he would not want to work in such an environment & rather cast IRL & all his work aside, instead.

-Tim blames "cascade failure" due to employees' "laziness", not financial woes, on the show potentially ending. Tim says the show has become "impossible to manage". This has been a background discussion for months, according to Tim. Tim says the show has "a safe profit margin", but "without a proper CEO, who isn't hosting the show, it's not possible" to operate at this scale of thirty employees & ten contractors. But "the external projects" are the real issue, as well as employees unable to do basic tasks, such as making sure the studio equipment are working. This leaves Tim as "Sisyphus" pushing the boulder, but these dead-weight employees "sitting on the rock":
-Dave, as the guest, naturally takes on the hosting role, asking the Beanie Boy what he wants. Rather than explain himself, Tim can be the centre of attention, at this pity party of a stream. Tim explains that he wants "to complain on the internet", & has seemingly accomplished it. But despite spending inordinate amounts of money making a skate park in his remote compound, the skaters he hired on do not seem to be producing content, as he wants them to. Tim bemoans how he is "working his fingers to the bone" but cannot call it a day to see the sunset, "at a normal time, like everyone else", due to bearing this inordinate burden:
-Tim says the "ancillary projects" are over, & only exist due to funding coming from Tim. Tim, also, notes that people are not taking even basic actions to maintain equipment. The reason the show is in the old studio is because "the graphics card is fried" &, despite knowing this was an issue, no one bothered to replace it:
-Tim explains how he is unwilling to accept less in pay if he is doing most of the work to keep all the projects afloat, alone. Tim regales us with his poor personnel choices that go unnamed, but we can infer their identities, from Rocco & Emily leaking information to leftists & running to The Daily Beast claiming Tim was a cat-napper, to people just unwilling to do basic maintenance of the equipment. Tim argues that when he "build the studio, himself", he could diagnose everything easily, but now, he cannot deal with the issues that arise as he was not the one to buy & set up the equipment:
-Tim, at least, admits this is his fault, as it regards to hiring choices, but still complains that despite making the choices, it is the employees whom are at fault. Tim contemplates shutting down IRL, & returning to his basic news segments, as that way he is completely in control. Which is one of the problems with Tim's management style. To counter this lack of action in getting good people, Tim uses an example that anyone worth their salt whom could film the skateboarders could just do it on their own, while the less capable with clamp onto the Branch Timidians for easy money:
-Tim reiterates the story of what IRL was meant to be, traveling around on the road, but the combination of COVID & the show's success as a podcast saw that never come to be:
-Tim rejects using Zoom, despite the potential cost-saving measures. He even notes that shows which use remote guests generally have higher output, lower costs, "& they will bury you" if you insist on having only in-person guests:
-While Tim enjoys IRL, the problems are so endemic, to there being an audio issue atop their video problems. Also, Tim reveals there is not going to be an election episode, because "If I'm not doing it, nothing happens", so nothing was done arraigning that, despite how big the 2024 election is:
-Tim says the Branch Timidians lack the "managerial skill" to operate at their current scale:
-Dave asks if Tim "is on the spectrum", which Tim says he is not. Though both Dave & Tim admit to some levels of narcissism between them, which was nice to hear. Tim ruins that by saying how it is not truly narcissism if you are right, & you know Tim always thinks he is:
-Raymond pleads the case for IRL continuing, as Tim considers his options as either "selling, or shutting it down". Ironically enough, Raymond's chair begins to fall apart mid-discussion, which does not bode well:
-Ian makes an appearance, having slept through Tim's pity party, having dreamt of playing music with Nick Fuentes, & rushed in to save the show. Ian says they could use the 8:00 slot for other things, such as highlighting recovery work in North Carolina, where Ian is going to help out & do interviews. That is right, Ian is actually going on the ground more than Tim. Tim calls Ian the Kramer of the show, which fits, as I can imagine him having a Michael Richards moment. Also, Ian highlights Tim's micromanagement issue & his need to actually empower managers to oversee things, even if he ultimately has the final say:
-Ian & Raymond recommend returning to the older IRL format where guests were less common. Raymond brings up Adam's challenges to the audience for like goals for him to wear the MAGA beanie. Tim seems receptive, but not so eager once the subject of Adam arises:
-Ian acknowledges that Dave is supposed to be the guest & not Tim's therapist for the night, by asking what he has been up to:

I will admit this timing about the show possibly being the last synced up with another Tenet-affiliated show breaking up. On 20 October, Rebecca, the co-host of Matt Christiansen's podcast suddenly announced her departure from the show to focus upon her own channel. The "X" postwas done without any coordination with Matt, whom wanted to have a final episode to close out their partnership. Rebecca claims the severance was due to Matt's unwillingness to touch controversial topics & near total creative control of the show. Rebecca allegedly refused to do a final episode, so Matt aired his side of things, solo.
I do not believe this to be anything more than a coincidence, but it was interesting to see the timing line up for two Tenet personalities seeing their shows shatter before their eyes.
But even without IRL's income, Tim admitted previously that he makes $1 million a year from the morning show, alone, which he takes as a salary. I can understand why people think Tim is strapped for cash. As @TheRaptorJesus notes, Tim pays for accommodations & travel for his guests, to say nothing of Tim's own insistence on needing a private jet to guest on other people's shows. Add to this building his folly of a compound for He & his skateboarding chums; investing in his money pit of a coffee shop; launching lawsuits as if they were going out of style, etc., I am more shocked that Tim is actually solvent, considering his profligate lifestyle choices.

Tim's complaint is that he had his 12th studio failure (as in the streaming equipment did not work on time), so he is ready to flip the table over that. You can run that tight of a ship and not be flexible with things not working out as you hoped.
Tim at least at one time had one person in charge of technical network equipment. I am going to guess that same person might have been in charge of making sure the streams work.
To get what Tim wants, Tim has to hire at least a couple of a highly motivated highly contentious people to ensure streaming reliability (7 days a week, multiple shows & studios, 18 hours a day).
They need to have redundant equipment in each studio that gets tested on a monthly basis. And they need to take time and test the equipment an hour before the start of each show to ensure that no problems crop up and they have time to switch equipment if there is a failure.
That costs money. And from what I understand Tim doesn't want to play top dollar to get well qualified people to do this. He just hopes he can get someone highly competent from his fan base on the cheap. Those people won't work cheap. They also need to have the authority to buy the equipment as needed when problems arise.
For some reason they people he has employed either don't think this is their job, or they don't have the necessary authority and leeway to fix the problem.

Rebecca's husband is in the military, which requires classification clearance. It wouldn't be surprising if the FBI warned the chain of command, dude's wife is an open white supremacist, with connections to a Russian agent(Lauren Chen).
Whatever is the real story behind this, Rebecca simply doesn't have the time, or work ethic, required to do more than stream occasionally on her own.

Take a week off, don't look at the internet, do a total internet cleanse for a week, come back, start ramping up coverage for the election, booking some huge show night of. 8 or 12 hour stream, do a membership drive then, get subs to build up some.

This blow up corresponds neatly with my decision to finally stop including IRL in my daily playlist. I usually skipped through the streams if even that anyways.
The root of Tim's problems are that he won't buckle down and hire employees, not friends. You can eventually become something akin to a friend with an employee, but certainly can't start that way when your goal is for people to do their fucking jobs.

This is pure speculation, but I think he's been trying for a kid with Alison for quite a while and the stress is getting to him. He mentioned his "spare bedroom" and trying for a family so long ago that they may even be doing infertility treatments at this point. He won't marry her, because he is too poisoned by the likes of Fresh and Fit into thinking marriage is a trap and Alison will take all of his money. From what we know about Alison, she is a fellow workaholic like Tim and is a major part of the operational side of Timcast, grueling schedules for both of them is going to contribute to stress that makes pregnancy harder, and she may be applying pressure to cut back a bit so they can have some together-time instead of living and breathing YouTube every day.

In fairness, he did start focusing more on culture after 2020. Half his gripe in IRL the other night is he can’t get the people to do that. So I absolutely think he’ll cut back and downsize.Is he quitting for real now?

I stopped listening to IRL ages ago because its just tim bloviating and talking over everyone, and don't forget shutting it down when someone speaks the truth. That whole show was a trainwreck and really shows that he really does think he is better than everyone. Why spend a month interviewing people to fix your issues? Because noone is good enough. In reality, tim can't hire experts because then they'd know more about something than he does and thats not allowed in beaniestan.
He said over and over money cannot solve his issues when his issues are easily solved with money. Dave was flabbergasted by Tims attitude that entire show and just couldn't get it through the iron beanie how he could lighten his load.
Its also funny how upset tim got when ian brought up how the show used to be better with adam.

I disagree that his problems are easily solved with money. Just spending money doesn't actually get you a well qualified individual. Not only do you have to be able to pick decent candidates to invest time into, you have to be able to maintain a culture where that employee actually ends up working.
Tim seems fundamentally incapable of being a manager.

It started off with orbiters because he came into money. All these "friends" he has only came about because disney saw something in him and threw far too much money at him.
They have agencies you pay to find qualified people. Do you think CEOs of large companies are doing the hiring? He just doesn't want to spend the cash to bring in qualified people. Because if all the problems go away you are left with the worst part of timcast and thats tim himself.
