I'm guessing they paid him with a handful of crystals and a baggie of weed they found in Ian's room. Guy thinks he probably got one over on them too, those are some premium charged crystals.

BS. Adam originslly wanted to talk about anything. No one forced Tim to talk about politics. And even if ‘they’ did. He could have allocated one show a week to tv and movies.

But yes Timmy, it was meant to be about movies and tv. Not an irl news show going across the country in a media van. Absolutely wasn’t meant to be your Timcast News show IN REAL LIFE.

That’s honestly the worst thing about content creators ‘sure, i have fuck you money that means I will never have issues but I can’t do things that will make slightly less money that I enjoy’

If you remember back to the oct 7 stuff with gaza and israel, some really stupid people were shocked that Tim had some people with ties to the IDF iirc. What I would imagine is ben or jeremy boreing had some minor stake in timcast for a good while. They probably offered to just buy Tim out completely after the tennet stuff and Tim's beanie got that woman pregnant.
 
I hate that Ben Shapiro is going to be a billionaire in this timeline. It's not that I don't think Ben Shapiro or any of these guys shouldn't be rich or successful it's just very annoying to see every single populist reveal themselves a corporate shill. It really is a tale as old as time and I guess people have realized that the moral highroad doesn't pay well.

Jordan Peterson is perhaps the most disappointing, the dude could have gone the independent route, do the odd pod cast or appearance, have a substack etc... and "retired" with tens of millions while still being highly regarded.

DW is now the face of neo-neo-conservatism, and they don't have the best interests of the average American at heart no matter how "based" some of their takes may be.
