Now, Tim claims that because he is just so into skating, & beanies are such a part of that sub-culture, that he keeps on wearing them. In the past, Tim tried to argue that the beanie made it harder for people to identify him, as show in the stream he did in 2017. As if wearing the knit cap would obscure his identity, like a balaclava. That incident is also around the time where the beanie boy shifted from covering news stories on the ground, which earned him an audience (including me), to talking about the news from his room. Though he now graduated into broadcasting from a remote compound, in West Virginia, via the money he made from YouTube.Tell me about Poole. Why does he wear the beanie?
Some time ago, Tim started to let people call into his morning stream, but still stands firm on not allowing people to remote-guest for IRL & The Culture War.I thought tim was above having people on the show that couldn't be there in person? He posted a clip on twitter where he was clearly talking to someone not in studio.
On 28 July, The scalping must have taken more out of Tim that I thought, as Phil is hosting the show.
The guest was Stella Gwandiku-Ambe Immanuel, a doctor whom expressed interesting opinions during the COVID-19 pandemic, & recently spoke in front of the U.S. Supreme Court, on the fifth anniversary of the event that catapulted her into fame.
Elad, & Shane, were the co-hosts.
No clips to be had, with Tim away.
On 29 July, Tim was back & Steve Cortes, a former contributor to a number of news outlets & now working independently, was the guest.
Elad, & Phil, were the co-hosts.
Tim says he was sick the previous day, & could not host. Which makes it more funny that it came in the wake of him being scalped.
Clip Collection:
-Much like Tim hiring Ian to be on the show to make him appear smarter, Elad may have been hired on to make Tim look less pro-Israel. When the topic comes up, Elad takes a harsh pro-Jewish state stance, which Tim gets to push over, arguing for not funding whatever it is they do. Here is an example:
It helps that Elad cannot make good arguments, where even the poor debater that Tim is can trump him:
-Tim considers the recent shooting in Manhattan to be more likely to be motivated by globalising the intifada rather than a grudge against the NFL. Phil & Steve bring up reports that there was a note on his body, claiming it was revenge for receiving a chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) during his time playing football, in high school. Combined with mental illness, it makes the attack motive more plausible. Tim rejects this out of hand, claiming that suppressing pro-Palestine motivation would hurt mayoral candidate Zohram Mamdani. Elad notes that CTE injuries are common in professional football. Steve makes his own unsubstantiated theory, that the media is promoting the CTE angle, because they wish to demonise the "uniquely masculine & American" sport of football. Tim, again, rejects these ideas & goes on to criticise how everyone else is relying on the anonymously-sourced reporting, instead of the proper action which is wild speculation. He shifts to an anti-capitalist motivation, because Blackstone was involved in buying up real estate. Tim becomes so frustrated, as even his chat tries to tell him that is unlikely, he declares Donald Trump must have been an asset for Russia, because that is what the reporting was:
It keeps going on, until Steve steps in to highlight how not trusting news stories, on face value, is part of this. Tim even admits that law enforcement has no official story, but seems not to recognise that his own rampant speculation on motivation is no different than that of his fellow panelists. The beanie boy whinges at how so many people believe "Big Football" was trying to hide the prevalence of CTEs. Which they did, & had several tragic events due to that lack of attention. After a bit, Tim amends this to being about the NFL suppressing CTEs in high schoolers, & how odd it is that someone from out-of-state, planning an attack, would go to the wrong floor. Counterpoint, blacks are noted for their less than stellar intelligence, both in the United States, & in worldwide. Combined with a mental illness/CTE, taking the wrong elevator to the wrong floor is quite possible:
-Later in the show, Tim gets a super-chat noting that the person at the scene of the mass shooting by Shane Tamura, shouting "Free Palestine", was someone else, not the perpetrator. This pokes a hole in his intifada theory. Also, Tim spent his entire sick day, in bed, watching Fox News:
