Tim Pool - 'journalist' who claims to be a sensible centrist & sucks Sargon of Akkad's wiener; Afraid of the Milkshake ANTIFAs

I'm going to go on record and say not too long ago I was actually subscribed to Pool's channels because once upon a time I actually found him at least somewhat interesting. However since COVID hit and especially since the Floyd riots he has become increasingly aggravating to listen to.

"Now listen, see, here's the deal: I'm not going to bury the headline but... (four minutes later actually gets to the point)."

"Now see, people think I've beed redpilled, but that's not true, I'm actually really centrist (last twenty videos citing Fox news and Daily Caller.)"

"Youtube is going to come after me and strike me down!" (Youtube allowed Tim Pool to be one of the first YT'ers to report on the COVID-19 virus by name)

What really annoys me the most is how he saber rattles on and on about the mainstream media. Now mind, I can't stand the MSM either, but what really cheeses me off is that Pool's tactics aren't any better. He's a clickbait peddler that uses fear tactics to try and keep people angry and hanging on to know more.

In any case, I unsubscribed to him a few weeks ago. Have to say my stress levels have gone down substantially.

I think he's mostly genuine actually. I think he's legitimately that wishy washy and reactionary.

I think he really does go from believing Trump will win in a landslide to believing Trump will lose in a landslide in the span of 24 hours.

Like I said earlier, he would make a fantastic random number generator because you can truly never tell with him.

Yeah I was subscribed to him for a while as well. Though, rather than just unsubscribing to Tim, I’ve stopped listening to/watching online political commentary of any kind from any source. I feel much better for it. All of these ecelebs are just spergs hungry for “fame” and patreon shekels.

You can boil down all of this content to essentially these three categories — ragebaiting, circlejerking about highly unlikely revolutionary scenarios, and/or pontificating about trivial ideological concerns to seem intelligent. How much good does it do for anyone to consume this type of content? It’s not about right or left, it’s about how one chooses to allocate their limited time in this life. I for one have chosen not to waste any more of mine chugging down intellectual sludge from jewtube grifters.

fuck, just think about how unbearably retarded this type of shit has made everyone. “uhh yeah for a while I was an anarcho syndicalist neocommunist peepeeologist, but now I’m a paleochristoconservative nazbol poopoologist instead lol.” All these nonsensical compound words and descriptors and qualifiers... for what? Tim Pool, Vaush, Guntlord, Destiny, Fuentes, et al. are not worthy of our attention.

I actually hate politics. And it sucks having to stay so plugged into what nonsense the Dems and media are trying to pull. But it seems like the sperging out on both sides has really amped up the last few weeks. So I've been taking a break from following so closely. Kung Flu has basically sucked the oxygen from the rest of the news cycle anyway. I've been watching Styx's videos every day but that's about it.

On here, the TDS thread used to be where I posted the most. I just checked and my first unread post is from a month ago and a hundred pages back. I occasionally check the 2020 election thread, but I'm two weeks out of date in that thread too. Lately I've been mostly posting in the Gaming and Music forums.

I can't believe people actually want to talk about and do politics for a living.

It can be fun and interesting for a variety of reasons. Most the people talking about it for a living are not the ones going mad that probably helps a bit. The ones that are sent mad don't compartmentalise stuff. They break the general rule of work by taking it home with them. The money might be worth the mental stress. Normal people don't make enough to put up with this shit.

You are not missing much in the TDS thread. Just check it if you want a laugh. That is what it’s there for.

Tim comes from a deeply racist Korean family and he never talks about his dad so I guess he either hates the white side of himself or his father's family is kind of detached from him. In either case, Tim probably hates China specifically because his grandparents and his mother raised him to hate all other Asians.

He refuses to shave his face, probably because people tell him that he "passes as white" all the time and he thinks this is the only way he can appear at least half-Asian. When in reality it makes him look like Shaun King. News flash, Tim: you can't grow a beard like that because you're non-white. White guys can have beards like that all we want, we just choose not to because they look stupid.

I do notice that Tim will occasionally talk about Korea, always bitches at China, and almost never discusses Japan. Very interesting.

No idea what you're going on about with the beard thing, or about his childhood. And what is there to discuss about Japan? You barely ever see them in the news in America because there's not a ton going on except for the Fukushima thing a while back. Safe, stable liberal democracy, reliable US ally, every now and then they'll say something insensitive about WWII war crimes. China and North Korea/South Korea are much bigger news stories with China being America's new rival and North Korea being run by a de facto absolute monarch who now has nukes.
