Tim Wise - The racist anti-racist

Tim Wise sucks, I actually have an email from him when I wasn't fully "redpilled" back in the day regarding race. I had sent him some Heather MacDonald article about why racial disparities in school suspensions might not be evidence of racism but simply a pattern of different groups breaking rules at different rates and he actually sent me a wall of text "explaining" why that's wrong lmao.

The thing with Tim Wise is that his entire career was sustained by academia. Faculty members at a variety of universities would petition for him to be a speaker and so he got paid big money to give lectures on college campuses about "racism" and "white privilege" back in the late 90s through the early 2010s. He's a significant reason why politics became so "woke" over the past decade. If you were at a mainstream university and took any liberal arts courses, especially ones relating to American politics or race, you undoubtedly would've read some of his stuff, at least in the form of excerpts. I'm pretty sure I had a class where I got extra credit just for attending his lecture and writing a summary paper of it. It's one of those cases where white students would be more likely to listen to him over a black panther member because Tim Wise is a "Fellow white person" so to speak (even though he is jewish technically).

Back after 2015 or 2016 I still followed him on fb and used to get into serious arguments with him which were quite humorous. The guy definitely has lolcow potential and is prone to melting. It's honestly a case of with social media gaining popularity in the 2010s, there wasn't much of a reason for Tim Wise. All the stuff he was talking about for nearly two decades became common knowledge to the average teenager on tumblr or facebook. So it's like what's the point for him, if any college student went to one of his lectures now it would be no different than watching CNN or MSNBC during the Trump presidency
