Without a doubt, this is probably my favorite cop-thriller film of 1980s. I was wondering if anyone here's seen it. I understand a member here has an avatar of Richard Chance. To this I say... AUGH YEAH

I can't believe I didn't notice this thread before.

Yes, I'm that member.

Anyway, when I was little my Dad had the soundtrack on cassette and we would drive around blasting "City Of The Angels" and "Wait". 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

It's probably something I should watch, since I just have a hard on for anything in contemporary 80s settings. I just don't like watching things illegally and over a computer. I need to watch things on a television.

I guess if I love Miami Vice, I'll love this.

I'd recommend it to anybody, it's a very cool movie. It's more "adult" than Miami Vice. (being an R rated movie and all)

Would you compare the "adult themes" with those seen in Flashdance?

Well, I just meant that "To Live And Die In L.A." has violence and nudity. AUGH YEAH

I hate when people say this movie is "cliched" when in reality, it invented many of the common tropes we see in cop movies and TV shows.
