Saw this on twitter a little while ago. These look pretty cool and if they're coming out in spring of next year they might just be a late birthday gift to myself.

Somehow I didn't know about these kits till now, or forgot about them. Only places that carry the furai kits by me only seem to carry the wave with IDW rodimus, g1 prime, and g1 megatron at a weird markup compared to the original 40-ish. I almost forgot they did a g1 soundwave and shockwave since I never saw them in any physical store.
Anyways, hit they look really great. ALSO I STILL NEED TO TAKE PHOTOS OF THE FIGURES FROM LAST MONTH AAARGH
I really wish FlameToys didn't cancel their Big Convoy, so now i'll just have to wait for Takara to create a better Big Convoy in New Legends or Dramatic Captures. I hope the same doesn't happen to Bludgeon either because his recent figures have solely consisted of reusing that legacy tarn mold which was rather subpar for a character like him

I keep looking at listings of the KO ss86 megatron that fills in the retarded waffling and basically ups the quality to MP level because it's significantly more affordable than the 60 dollar leader prices. I have no money for this shit currently but if it's still cheap when I do get money it's likely the version of ss86 megatron I'd get considering that the battle damaged one was only on discount when once again, no money.

Of all the things to bring back the race based casting push I did not expect it to be fucking cgi jazz that's basically polar claw with extra steps from the budget/kids toy line. Check two different ross'es in my area. Found nothing but deluxes from the start of last year. Heard people are getting armada nemesis prime the other day so wanted to try my luck

I wish I had that kind of luck. Months back I did that pay in 4 thing on a reseller that wanted basically msrp for it (though I said that before already when it happened). I didn't expect it to actually start showing up at discount chains with how adamant hasbro was at keeping it at the grotesquely inflated price it was on their site that has no pay in 4 option. I got a feeling it's gonna be like ollies trypticon where only resellers seem to get ahold of it unless you're really lucky. Nothing's gonna match that level of value though (actually near $200 dollar figure for $40 ) The ross nemesis prime discount seems to be close to the original price it was listed for before the last minute change which is kind of absurd.

Mine does, but I've never found anything amazing there. The only Transformers I've seen there are extremely undesirable ones and the prices are still too high for a "why the hell not" kind of purchase.

until anyone actually hires me, I'm priced out of pretty much everything aside from occasional pay in 4s for used stuff that's not upmarked to nightmare prices or KOs. The third party ginrai with all the extra upgrade sets and the takara figure to go with it was likely one of the best used ones I got so far this year aside from black zarak who was also bundled with some other figures.
It's weird how this year most of the Transformers I've managed to finally get for a good price have just been modernized remakes of a specific timeframe of later g1.
It looks like IDW might not be involved this time, but Wyatt died some years back. I think they might have a chance? Maybe? I don't know.
Season 3 will always be the end to me.
Edit: here's the issue. TFA was interesting because it kind of front-and-centered the conflicts that arise from having Cybertronians directly involved with humans on a more public scale. I feel like moving all of it to Cybertron might mute that charm a bit.
