OP's username does not check out, the canary legitimately won't load for me either.

Link to the July one, fetched from Twitter.

In theory the canaries aren't meant to trigger in the middle of the month, they trigger at the start of the next month when the next one doesn't get posted. This could plausibly have to do with our recent downtime issues. If you're just casually paranoid, I wouldn't worry yet.

If you actually have something to worry about, I would have started being concerned the moment the tor service was disabled.

Sadly, I don't have Null's public key, nor do I have the knowledge required to use it. I would not be able* to verify the legitimacy of the canary even if it came back up again...

Agreed, it's very likely nothing, but I've been checking the git page daily since ilj... and it only went down two days or so ago, while sonichu.com has been down longer. Given the nature of the page, something to keep in mind as we watch for the canary in September.

I saved the one he was using to sign his canaries.
Attached it here (remove the .txt extension)

Of course, there's no reason you should trust me, but if the canaries themselves come back online you can verify that this key works on them.

I assume that once I get a chance to figure out how to use pgp, if this is the real public key, it will also work on the canary that is still available on the forums and on archive.fo.

Of course there's the chance that the forums, the git, and the archive have all been compromised... But I do not yet have reason to believe you're a super hacker.

If the Git is archived you can probably find the key somewhere in there too. That's where I originally got it, it was buried at some not-very-obvious location.
