Welcome to Community Watch.

This board marks a pivot in the focus of the forum. When we originally introduced the Lolcow board, there was a shift from just Chris to anyone of interest. Over time, our definition of Lolcow became broad. This vague understanding of what a Lolcow is could not be corrected, much like how there was obvious interest in discussing non-CWC Lolcows, there is obvious interest in discussing non-lolcow groups, communities, and organizations.

There are only a few rules you need to know for this board.

• All groups must be Internet identities. The Westboro Baptist Church is not a valid community.
• NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL INVOLVEMENT IN THE GROUP. If you ever, ever start a post with "yeah these guys are bad buuuut as someone who's been apart of the community for 5 years ..", you're fucking up. You can explain something without directly saying you are a massive sperg who's been doing something gay and embarrassing for a decade. This is called trollshielding and it makes you look like a faggot.
• Individuals belong in Lolcows. If someone found in a thread is such a massive weirdo they can conceivably earn their own thread, give them the recognition they deserve.

Furthermore, this forum will be getting unique thread prefixes. They are as follows.

• Infected. There is a sizeable presence of users from the community that are trying to course-correct the thread into something positive. Refocusing requested.
• Diseased. Many users in the thread are from the community and are showing their powerlevel. Ridicule requested.
• Plagued. The thread is now completely lost to unending tides of autism, to the point where the thread is now about the subject rather than the community around it. Drop bombs, evacuate neighboring cities.

Only moderators and supervisors will be able to apply these prefixes. I will be looking for a supervisor or two from this board in the near future.

These prefixes are a good idea, but I don't think that they're going to stop all the powerleveling and idiocy found in the stampede threads. I still support this decision, but the general posting quality there will probably stay low.

I believe it equates to the thread being deleted and forcing to restart.
