It's social media, unless they're using it to hack cameras to observe the people all they can see is what you post. Maybe they'll get permission to see what is friends-only, but still- you have to post it first.

I doubt it will find anything, but then again I never expected somebody to film themselves torturing a person live on facebook, or talking about the money they stole from a bank, etc. Social media does help find dumbass criminals much easier.
