I still can't get over this one dev's tweets. It's a gold mine of cringe.

No one gives a fuck what you feel like you are. They're addressing you by what they see before them, because using one's senses to identify the thing before them is normal. It's what people have always done and will always do, and expecting people to ignore their senses is retarded. People have their own lives and don't have time to remember the rules of your fucking game, especially if you're not an important part of said life, so they're going to default to what's apparent. (And considering these characters, I get the feeling no one's in a hurry to make this self-centered snowflake an important part of their life.)
Seriously, though. My voice is deep as fuck and I get called 'sir' all the time. I visibly startle people when they realize that it's coming from me. And I'm not alone in that: There are plenty of people that don't look/sound their sex and get called the wrong thing all the time. The difference is that the rest of us have the appropriate response of laughing it off and not caring or getting the fuck over it. Because again, expecting people to ignore their senses is retarded.

Looks much better and you can't even say she is white because she is half Korean. They seriously dropped the POC ball here by defaulting everyone to dark skin and just assuming all POCs can't be seen in the dark unless they show their teeth.

Just noticed that at some point the pie chart on the Kickstarter was changed to slash the 42.9% merchandise cost and redistribute the difference to gamedev costs. Clearly these people haven't learned that the internet never forgets. Also supports that the team is lurking this thread, since I don't recall this specific criticism coming up on Twitter?
