Goof Troop for SNES. I haven't really played that one but it seems pretty decent.

Beavis and Butthead for Sega Genesis is a decent co-op adventure with a sense of humor, though it kinda wears off after you play through with a friend.

Adventures of Batman and Robin for Sega Genesis is a Gunstar Heroes like platformer with nice animations and banging music.

There was an X-Files game on PS2 that was pretty great. It was basically Resident Evil but it was X-Files. You could play as both Mulder and Scully and it had the actual voice actors for everyone including The Lone Gunman and Cancer Man. As a big X-Files fan I really enjoyed it.

Darkwing Duck on NES and Gameboy. That game was fun. Avoid the TurboGraFX one though. Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers was really good too. A lot of anime based games turn out great. The Naruto fighters come to mind, along with Jojo's Bizarre Adventure in arcades, LBX on 3DS, the Dragonball games mentioned above, and my personal fave the Hokuto no Ken Arc System Works fighting game.

When I was young I remember having a lot of fun with Simpsons Hit & Run.
The Simpsons: Hit and Run
Aside from that, there was also The Simpsons Game. It was a platformer that pretty much ended up making jokes related to video games. While it wasn't open-ended like Hit and Run, it was a fun platformer that had some variety with its stages.

Ducktales and Ducktales 2 on the NES are fantastic. Ducktales was my favorite show growing up and I was so happy that the games were worthy adaptations.

As others have stated, The Simpsons Hit and Run was great. The Simpson Road Rage was good too, if you were fine with going through the same levels multiple times until you get enough cash to beat the game.

The Spongebob platformers were fun too. Particularly Battle for Bikini Bottom.

The Simpsons Arcade was one of the best arcade beat em ups ever. Holy fuck was it good.

That, and the three TMNT beat em ups by Konami were all excellent (TMNT 1 Arcade which became TMNT 2 on NES, TMNT 3 and TMNT 4 Turtles in Time)

The X-Men arcade beat em up was another classic, but I think Simpsons and TMNT 4 (especially TMNT 4) were a bit better.

Speaking of X-Men, the two genesis games were also good.

The old X-Files FMV game looks kinda fun, but I haven't played it so I can't say.

As others have said, The Simpsons: Hit & Run was awesome.

Other good games based on TV Shows include X-Men: Mutant Academy (a PS1 fighting game from 1999 based on the 90's X-Men cartoon with a lot of promotional material for the then-upcoming X-Men movie) and the PS1 Spider-Man game from 2000 that freely blended comic and cartoon continuity and had a lot of the voice actors from the 90's Spider-Man and Spider-Man Unlimited cartoons.

If we're including anime in this, I would also like to nominate Digimon World 2, the PSP Ghost in the Shell FPS, and InuYasha: Secret of the Cursed Mask as awesome video game adaptations.

The early Naruto fighting games for PS2 were also fairly decent.
