I don't suppose it occurred to you that he deliberately didn't mention decrying their method because he DOES support direct action. He just doesn't agree with the reason they're protesting in the first place. He's allowed to disagree with their reasoning; it's not exactly a secret where Rev's political allegiances lie, nor that he does care a lot about political activism. You're kidding yourself if you think this is in any way hypocritical or otherwise against the norm for him.

Incidentally, I also don't think you understand what the term "bootlicking" means.

Let me show you the other tweet where he calls them terrorist (not rightful protesters), so much for agreeing with their methods, also "causing physical harm to others" the only casualty was on their side and it got shot by the national guard mind you. Rev is a hypocrite not because he disagrees with Trump or the MAGAtards, but because the moment THEY protest, using the same methods his side does (with no casualties but their own too) suddenly they become terrorist

This isn't a political thread so this is the last I'll say of this, but you know they stormed a building that was full of representatives specifically to intimidate them, right? And that there were bombs found on the scene that were thankfully discovered and safely detonated before they could kill anyone? AND that a good chunk of the people who stormed the capitol were armed and fully intent on doing harm?

If you've heard Rev talk about his protesting before, you know that what he does is decidedly different and has an emphasis on civil protest where violence is only used in self-defense. These guys were planning on blowing the whole place sky high. Again, you can feel however you like about what he said, but this is not news. Rev has always had this exact same stance. Pretending like he's being hypocritical is just flagrantly false.

EDIT: I'd rather not leave this post on that note, so have this link to Vinny's old Blogspot account instead. I was looking through it the other day and it really took me back... it's quite old, and most of the posts are from before I was even watching yet, so a bunch of it was pretty elucidating about what the first few months of Vinesauce were like. It's a pretty fun read.

You're right that this thread is not political in nature but we are talking about Rev here so its still within the topic, and to that let me ask you, how's that any different to the ANTIFA and BLM riots that set aflame residential buildings and other staffed businesses and public infrastructure with the explicit purpose of intimidate government to do what they demanded and that he supported too? and for all the harm they intended to do how come there where no deaths to even violence against other people but their own? meanwhile you can find no shortage of people who got beaten to near death or killed in the other riots that Rev had no problem supporting. the boomer chimpout its about to end with nothing else happening, the bombs didn't got anyone, the capitol is back to normal already and Trump might get kicked out earlier because of it, but the other riots Rev supported caused millions in property damage ruined family businesses and various deaths, but somehow for Rev this is terrorism and the BLM/ANTIFA disaster was completely lawful and good. Rev can bat for whatever cause he wants but he doesn't get to call the boomer chimpout terrorism when the side he bated for did the exact same thing but with much bigger, longer and tangible damage even if he pussies out saying "no violence guise we are peaceful uwu" while celebrating buildings burning down. i do want to end this here because its getting too spergy for my taste. so im just gonna say i disagree with you in that Rev is a fag with no principles while grandstanding his superior moral justice in twitter like all the rest
