It fucking amazes me how Calli gets so much hate for being largely inoffensive, why is she such a lighting rod for the utterly deranged? We even have a notable Calli anti on this site who has tried to stir shit up in the past, and i understand none of why this stuff happens, what monkey paw did she wish on to be here?

It's on Niji to spoonfeed EN randos upset about a suspension of someone they don't even watch? Unless Niji is exporting Gundou content like Sony exports games there is no reason to babysit dumb fucks who can't contextualize cultural issues themselves. They are not so there is nothing to solve.

You are correct on the context, from what I understand, and 40%+ of Japan watched that final at 8am so any relevant comments had a large amount views resulting in the seemingly disproportionate backlash.

Shit is apples to oranges. Intentional hits in the MLB are because of the "unwritten rules" of baseball which are dumb anyways. She was asking why you don't hit a batter so they can't play well. That is not the intention of intentional hits, they are payback for bat flipping of staring too long at a pitcher. A better comparison is fighting in hockey, shits allowed in the NHL but strictly not allowed internationally.

Gundou will be back like Gwelu and everyone here will continue not to watch her as scuttle fucked off to actually watch streams.

I genuinely don't get that vibe from this instance. It's not really a new observation to make. I think most of the heat is coming from people who just hate Gundou anyways and are suddenly up in arms about the sacredness of sportsmanship. This is typical JP anti pattern to suddenly pretend to be extremely outraged and sanctimonious about some gay shit nobody cares about like BL author rights or Ableism if it means taking a stab at someone they hate. Gundou's hatebase is basically other nijisanji stans praying for the final yab and magnifying every retarded thing she says into a war crime.

Nothing really. Gundou gets slapped on the wrist constantly. The EN terminations are only news worthy because of how much of a shitstorm people brewed in public spaces over Zaion. As I said before, literally Elira's "crew" is safe and sound purely because of seniority, for example Finana should have long been axed. Millie should have gotten the axe for directly slandering livers, something Zaion got yeeted for in the statement. Enna should have gotten yeeted as well, I love Enna but Millie, Enna and Finana have done more than just "lol here's a joke about having a sponsorship" and "omg I added people to my friendlist without permission!"

I've mentioned this before but it's still funny that the agency specialized in "idols" was the agency that first got popular outside Japan (especially the west), way before the other agency that specialized in "streamers", considering that idols aren't really something that are viewed in a positive manner.

if it were as simple as merely involving personal lives. njsj has a long time partnership with konami for their power pro Koshien video game. that same video game is used for njsj's biggest event of the year in terms of live viewership. Nijisanji Koshien. Last year brought more than 300k live viewers, a majority from baseball enthusiasts.

as a business, you cannot risk losing this sponsorship at all cost. not only it affects enkr but also other livers who thrived through baseball topics like maimoto.

i dont feel that vibe from this suspension. gwelu's suspension was revealed by enkr on the day when it was supposed to end (1/31) before gwelu came back (2/1).

koshien sponsor, vtuber antis, now antis from baseball freaks and normies, and enkr throwing her under the bus are what makes me feel more of a deja vu to zaion than to gwelu.
