The vtuber "genre" is quite diverse. Yes there are alot of weirdos, the lolicon "lewd-tuber" and gfe (girlfriend expeirience) vtuber. There is also the male vtubers, ranging from somewhat autistic middle aged man , average bro vidya streamer , to gay shit, troon with text to speech or boyfriend expierence vtuber who does spicy dicksucking asmrs (this is not a joke. the audience consist mostly of chinese women)
Besides those there is ofcause alot of vtubers that do alot with music, original songs or covers (especially on the japanese side) even doing concerts (well its mostly vtubers from hololive).
Most are just basic ass variety streamers with a vtuber model instead of a camera.
