Bear in mind that in SJ circles "almost raped" can mean anything from "I was held down and had to physically fight off a throbbing penis" to "someone called me by my morning pronouns at 12:15."
I know I keep saying it, but we need another Vietnam.

Blanket Draft, no buying out, attempts to do so result in penal regiments. Bound for med school? Medical corps for you! Crippled? Drone pilot for you, which means the ones who try to be drone pilots will be pressed into practical roles.

Ensure that all NATO countries are signed up to this so that there are no extended holidays, and these kids avoiding it will be too soft to last in a non NATO country.

A few months in boot camp and then some tours in a crazy war zone, combat or support, they will soon gain a sense of perspective.

Who you going to fight this war with that NATO wouldn't pave over immediately?

Vietnam was less of a war than an occupation like Iraq and Afghanistan. Even in the 1960's the United States could have won the war part pretty easily. The kind of grinder you're talking about one would have to go back to Korea and probably would again require the participation of the other power on the ground in that conflict.

Oh it doesn’t have to be a real war.

More a 1984 style perpetual war unclear proxy.

If it comes to it, NATO countries could always fight among themselves in a section of desert.

I wasn’t seriously proposing this, just lamenting that this generation needs to recognize that it’s collective personal struggles is not a Vietnam.

If they were given something both majorly more serious than their own perceived struggles with gender to concern themselves with in early adulthood, it really would end their self absorbed idiocy.
