I can't stand Amir, he's Volt which is the most obnoxious frame to begin with, he's constantly twitching, he doesn't shut the fuck up, and he's voiced by the guy who also did Bird 3, who I find very much endearing.
Arthur is fine, he's pretty bland though, which is just perfect for Excalibur.
Quincy I wouldn't mind except for his accent randomly switching from British to Jamaican to a general American one, his lingo is all over the place, and he does that "I'm too cool for this, I'm leaving" only to come back anyway with an annoying quip and save the day. Fuck him.
Lettie outright tells you early on you're wasting her time, that's not something you should pursue and is not healthy, plus the stereotypes going on there but she's fine overall.
Aoi is friendly and bubbly but a bit too fangirl-y but I do like her okay.
Eleanor seems like the type to murder you in your sleep or worse and I can respect that.
Overall I kind of hated the mission though they do prompt you to help them but you can't skip and it gives you a quicktime event you can't fail, you can sit there for as long as you like, not hold e and you still can't have them die, that's fucking bullshit, why bother with that if you can't fail, why give me the option at all when I do have to save them all and can't let the ones I don't like die.
It feels a lot like cool hip 90s characters written by 40 year old urban liberal Canadians because it is that, and the how do you do fellow kids of it all rubs me the wrong way. Their characters were always more set dressing than this and pretty non intrusive, I ended up liking a lot of them and even the bad ones I didn't mind outside of their practice of giving you Alad V again but this time he's wearing a new hat. The motorcycle seems shoved in, you don't generally need to go fast and far unlike Duviri where you really needed that horse thing to get around, it's literally a vehicle to sell you cosmetic bundles.
