First thing I noticed was it had a really hard time with my orbiter. Low fps, and it would just freeze when I panned the camera.

I decided to just briefly test it out so I queued for ESO. FPS was better here, its definitly playable. My main issue is the controls, I am not someone who plays games on touchscreen so its really awkward. The game auto fires your gun when you hover over an enemy, so no trigger press, and the parkour moves are all separate buttons.

When I get off work I am going to try it with a controller and maybe tone some of the settings down, I cant see this as something I would play on over my console or PC though.

Christ on a cracker, I hate playing any 1st/3rd person game on a phone, but this game sounds like hell with a touchscreen. The movement is way too complex.

I’ve totally avoided the moderation in game because I just don’t interact in game unless my squad wants to coordinate. I’m also used to Microsoft style moderation now that I’m on Xbox where literally anything can get you banned, so turning off comms is always the safest option.

I hate this shit so much but places like here on the farms are basically the only place I truly feel are “safe spaces” to say what I want.

I learned from comments on that video that if someone dupes or otherwise makes fake platinum, and you unwittingly trade for it, your account will be banned until you pay DE the cash value of the duped plat...not the person who originated it.

There already existed a Warframe companion app that did stuff like that; I think it may have been temporarily delisted or renamed for the release of the actual game.

This is true. No matter what, DE will get paid.

They market themselves as this nice super ethical and fluffy company but in reality, they really aren’t.

I think a few people have had success in not getting charged for someone else’s fraud but you’d have to go search preddit for that.
 

So I played a bit more mobile, gotta say that I am not a huge fan.

Like the video above the game is a bit grainy, even with max visuals, and while its definitely very playable, you are still staring at a tiny screen. I would be interested in seeing it run on an ipad with an m1 chip, may work much better.

Ill stick to steam deck for my mobile needs, built in controller and much better FPS and graphical fidelity.

This is as bad as it sounds, but there's slightly more to it: they remove the value of the fake plat. You always lose it, but you're only banned if that takes your plat balance negative (i.e. if you've already spent some of it and haven't traded back above the balance). At that point, you're banned until you buy enough to get your balance positive again. Community advice used to be to be very cautious for a week or two after selling a Riven in case you were the one left holding the bag, just in case Rivens weren't bad enough as is.

It's also possible that I'm wrong or that they've changed it, but that was how I was warned about it in the past.

Okay I swear I've been in such shit lobbies ever since the phone update dropped and, out of boredom, I checked the QA chat. My God there's so many cross platform players asking shit like "what do I do now? And more annoying "can someone help me run like the third mission on earth?"
I swear I've gotten one as a host too because barely anything spawned in a survival void fissure and nobody cracked a relic. First time that happened in fucking years.
 
I love the disaster that is typical of every single big update. This is better than the Zariman none opening doors. Never change DE.

Devstream confirms that they're making the Netracell drop tables what people have been asking for since day 1. Maybe I'll actually run those again because right now it's either running solo and getting the pain in the ass keyglyphs or pubbing and it taking 25 minutes because some retard is in a hallway across the map instead of the circle.
 
I've stopped running the Duviri Circuit because I keep getting some asshat that decides to fuck around in the Dormizone and waste our time. Last time it was ten minutes before I gave up and walked in, and somehow I was the bad guy because I wanted to play what I queued up for.

At least the Netracell pubs I get have got it through their head to stay by the beacon.

Meanwhile, here I am just managing to connect to a Circuit run, only for the host to immediately run into the portal before I have the chance to choose my warframe.

60 seconds, and then I enter, fuck any retard taking too long.

I sometimes even go in sooner, if I think their movements convey disrespect to my time. Might even alt f4 as host if I don't like your name or glyph.

Think like a piece of shit Lord from the before times, and brutalising the serf class becomes a fun metagame.

If I'm hosting and the rest of the team is either leeching or just running around looking for collectibles or whatever the fuck, they're getting migrated to the next dimension and I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

God forbid you have to play a Railjack mission and there's an objective that requires someone to get off the ship. Either:
A. You leave the ship to try to do the objective and your RJ gets hull breached immediately and no one fixes it
B. You pilot the ship to keep it from dying and spend the next 30 minutes praying that someone would do the goddamn objectives

It took 25 minutes to run a single A rotation of RJ survival so I had no qualms about hitting ALT+F4 instead of going back to the dojo just to destroy everyone else's rewards.
