Ive been using limbo mostly for defense and Volt for everything else. After playing a bit more with Limbo, the guide made by our fellow kiwi bro is pretty on point. Although im a retard so i just put 4 on the center of the defense pod and just protect from bullets, since most enemies die before they enter the bubble. In the case that they enter i tend to either 3 or 2. I dont think Limbo is bad and in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing you become immortal and you create a space where everything bows to you. I aint that person.

Also i was doing a mission and got a mini boss(?) a stalker and he dropped a cool looking bow called Dread. Also something i appreciate is that in the store you can buy the blueprints for certain weapons instead of buying it with premium currency. I waz worried that i would have to spend plat to buy all those weapons.
Yeah, never spend plat on anything you can just farm directly from content.

Dread is an amazing weapon, and many people use it well-modded far into the game, and the Incarnon version at endgame.

The Stalker can drop a few other weapon blueprints - Hate (a melee weapon) and Spite (a thrown secondary). He gets irritated when you kill a boss and starts hunting you. He’ll send you a vaguely hateful mail to tell you he’s looking.

I cannot tell you how many years and kills for me to finally get Hate. Bastard just wouldn’t drop.

The issue with limbo (and other frames as well, limbo is just the worst offender) is that he is a warframe that demands at least moderate understanding (or else people will lose their mind on you) for a pay off at best that isn't worth it, and at worst has no actual benefit outside of gimmick grendal excavation. Mostly because limbo also gets in the way of other frames doing their theme. Like it's a bad place to be when you have to think about what your doing then a yareli jump on merulina with a sporelacer and has the same effect on the mission. Or you have a sevagoth show up, and he proceeds to press 1, then 2, and then completely out does what you've achieved with the mission in seconds. It even isn't really a new problem, I've taken a few years off but he had the exact same issue back then. But his pay off was more justified. However the way the game has changed is not favorable to the kit design.

Correction the sevagoth presses 2, then 1. But another point. It's totally fine to play unoptimal frames because it doesn't matter for relevant content. I have no doubt you can do elite deep archamedia with a limbo, but the issue is you are also subjecting other people to your nonsense if you aren't playing solo

Spite (a thrown secondary).
Are you playing on some weird language version where Despair is translated as Spite?
Ive been using limbo mostly for defense and Volt for everything else.
As you collect more frames unless you really like limbo you will only really use him in mobile defense since it's timed and you just have to wait trough enemies and defend the point. With regular defense the faster you kill the faster it ends and skill issue on limbo can really slow team down and in survival you have to keep on killing enemies so you have to understand his kit (and how not to fuck with other players by putting random enemies in the rift)

The only thing you'll realistically have to spend plat on to not halt your progress are slots for warframes/weapons/companions etc. and maybe orokin reactors/catalysts (called by community potatoes). If you're unsure on how to obtain some particular weapon you can always check wiki if in-game info is not clear enough, but be careful of spoilers since you're still early in the main story quest. If you want to obtain/sell some prime parts make sure to check out warframe.market website.

A very "other player friendly" tactic on Limbo is to put Narrow Minded on and literally only ever have your 2 and 4 active. That puts the objective in the rift so it can't be shot, any melee unit will run into the bubble and get stunned, and you won't put additional enemies in the rift so everyone else won't get mad at you.

And a lot of weapons blueprint are able to be bought from the market and I'm 90% sure that you can actually filter the market to only have available blueprints. Also the blueprints that aren't available in the market will tell you how to farm them if you mouse over the blueprint under the plat. And never buy a warframe especially with plat. it is cheaper to farm all the components and bp, rush the build of everything with plat, and use plat to orokin reactor and exilus slot your frame than buy it from the market. Some weapons are such a pain to farm that I sorta get wanting to buy them, but at the same time you're playing a farming sim, so if you don't like farming out weapons Warframe might not be the game for you.

Basically what this guy said, but he was just a little faster on the post button.

Everyone should play Yareli, Sevagoth, and Kullervo. And if you put Loyal Merulina on Yareli then fuck you.

Got Limbo and gotta say i like its design, sadly its playstyle doesnt click with me. Im sure he can be a superb area control frame but he aint for me.

Currently MR 6, was lucky today to get 2 of the parts of Hildryn while doing relics so hopefully ill get the remind ones.

Current gripe is that the quest are just their own bubble with the exception of Heart of Deimos. Like im super curious of what the warframes are and the background story. Like i have been making my own headcanon about what they are with what ive been given so far which is:

Warframes are suits that are operated by something or someone and they are certainly immortal-ish. They are sentient and can do things and they have been around a long ass time. Some of them have become legends or central figures to civilizations, countries or legends.

Thats my headcanon so far, dont spoil since i wanna learn the story and im just sharing what i think stuff is with what ive been given and seen so far.
The story is great right until a woman writer takes over. Just pretend it ends there. You'll know what I mean when you get to it.

I sorta miss facerolling missions with Mag. No idea how much the game has changed since then, but I was at the point where all there was to do was Eidolon hunts.

Mag is still a good option in this era's lategame. Fracturing Crush was buffed so now it reduces Crush's casting time, and the introduction of the Helminth system lets you put Breach Surge on Mag to do some crazy shit with Magnetize/Bullet Attractor.

As for general changes, damage/enemy resistances were straight-up streamlined, and enemy armor scaling was capped.

Coming back after a short break for this patch, glad they are adding early game content and the new frame seems fun.

Companion changes are great, I fucking hate Sentinels because they tend to just stick to the camera, and my Smeeta has been my most used companion for years.

God I hope Xaku Prime is announced soon, I need to give Gauss a break.

Fat, shitty long hair, youtube safe (tm) edgy humor, Yareli fetish, no stranger to butt stuff. I give it eight months.
Incoming troon arc? Edit: I can't believe you don't even have to be signed in to watch this video. Fucking disgusting

This guy is annoying on twitter, safe edge is 100% accurate.
