Wait until you get to the spy missions where you need to complete all three or you fail.
On those missions I run a permastealth Loki with the cipher ability because somehow I'll be the last person to spawn in but I'll still end up being the one to complete all three vaults (or someone else will try one and screw up at which point I call in Ordis to save the day). It really does feel like the playerbase has gotten a lot worse over the last few months at completing any objective that isn't "murder this/everything", showcased by the newest mission where people are just roaming up and down the beach instead of clearing the zones and transporting the macguffins.

New frame can be farmed on Cetus, its part of their new player changes. They even made Koumei take less time to craft than normal.
Holy shit really? I'm still grinding the tokens for her. How long are the parts?
If you're doing Steel Path for Pearls, you're honestly just wasting your time.
But I need to prove that my warframe is strong.

I noticed that unless the obj is "kill this" some players just wander around killing instead of doing obj. I believe this partly the game's fault for keeping the players in a comfort zone of sorts. Case in point Limbo, which after seeing a 2 hour video going over autistic detail about the frame and how other youtubers downplay Limbo because he doesnt have a "kill button" that means he is shit. Which has made me want to eventually get Limbo Prime if it aint vaulted and actually master it because it is a frame that rewards actual skill when using the abilities. Basically some or most players just want to spawn, kill and leave. Which i can understand but sometimes we need a little challenge and mix things up.

Parts are 12 hr still, but the frame is 24hrs
if it aint vaulted
Lol. Every prime you want in Warframe is vaulted, but with prime resurgence and plat you can get anything. Once you get some good builds you can do the 40-60 bounties in every faction for rep and aya (which is how you buy the prime resurgence relics without real money)

Their recent obsession with "new player experience" is so fucking retarded. They're forcing everyone to do like 50 runs of a lvl 8 mind numbing mission just to appease some potential new players. 4% per part drop? 15 of the currency per match? all while requiring ~750 to get everything + like 150 as a crafting material on top of it? Get the fuck out of here.

Yes, there is SP but it's considerably more of a hassle with only slightly higher reward, it's infinitely more time efficient and less of a hassle to just do the normal version.

Got Koumei on the Steel Path and she is one of the Warframes of all time. No idea when I'm ever going to use her.
But I need to prove that my warframe is strong.
Sadly, poorly implemented game mechanics are stronger.

It's level 8 because it's an Earth mission. I will agree, though, that it would be more enjoyable if the final boss didn't have the damage attenuation system that turns his fight into a slog.
That said, the pearls are mostly a pity system to help mitigate bad RNG. You're not expected to buy everything with pearls. Unless you have really bad luck, you should get enough random blueprint that it shouldn't take you that long.

I think newbies are possibly more likely to drop real $$$. I remember Rebecca saying on stream a year or two ago that they have a retention problem so could also be related to that.

Yeah, it's hard to get people to stick with Warframe when you have stuff like Warframes themselves taking 12+72 hours to build and respond to every item source with "just look it up on the wiki". Not to mention that a lot of the items on the shop are cosmetics which can only be bought a single time. So, getting more people into the game means more people to buy them.

Agree although it is annoying to farm a frame for hours and instead of reaping the rewards i have to wait like 3 days to use it, that and the shitty inventory space almost made me quit. The only saving grace is that since im busy, i can deal with crafting times since i get lost in work. But i can see people with more free time or atleast more investment into the game getting annoyed. Like i get that they need to monetize but starting with such a constricting inventory size and more so when you start, because ive been crafting like crazy(could craft more but the FUCKING NEURODES) but i cant just clear my craft table because my inventory will get full.

You’ll get to that midway point where you are constantly cooking items so the timer won’t really matter. It’s only painful as a newbie and at late game when you have nothing to level.

You can get a free Affinity Booster, a Galatine sword, Tempo Royale stance (rare) and some shitty decoration with the promocode Koumei-FHF8U.
https://www.warframe.com/promocode?code=Koumei-FHF8U and log in for easy redeem

Edit: It also comes with a free weapon slot and a free potato in Galatine.
Nice, Galatine is a great weapon, and that's the best Heavy Blade stance. Good combo for a new player.

Yeah, Koumei has to be one of the worst fucking frames for new players I can imagine. Her skills aren't really affected by mods which means the player isn't going to really learn about modding. Her 'best' skill, her 2, is only useful in missions that go on for at least 30 minutes. Her 2 also takes away from either doing the objective or reducing her damage output to do glorified Riven challenges. Than you tack on squad mates potentially killing things and making it borderline impossible to complete challenges. All so that she can... what? Be a fucking condi primer?

I want whatever you're smoking. Its a crit weapon with forced status procs on serration mod. I'm super excited for it.
Gimmick is cool but the damage isn't there to be even middling when you get to higher level steel path, I'd even doubt it performs well as a "introductory" steel path weapon.

Honestly feels like her kit is meant to be a primer or something with all the status effects everywhere.

Imagine competing with the fucking Diriga. Yeah, fuck using a sentinal to passively apply a half dozen statuses. I want that full body cast with hard LoS.:lossmanjack:
Seriously, in terms of spreading statuses, we had the Tazicor being changed with the current update into a chaining beam weapon.

the funny thing is that you kinda want to run Diriga or Cedo with her for decrees to be easier to complete

Yeah performance is very bad. If the alt-fire charge was based on hits instead of kills it may have been decent enough.

Yeah, can't wait to get another "On Finisher" decree.
Seriously, if you need to bring two top tier items to make a frame work, than you're basically jumpstarting a hot wheels toy car.

Hopefully the devs let us select the decree we want from Koumei outside of Duviri, and maybe do more work on omamori because that thing is inconsistent AF.
