Warframe has had weird fetish characters since i can remember. From Garuda being gore fetish to equinox being troon light. Xaku being a they/them. Hildryn being a female built like a strongman competition. Vornuna being a fury. Citrine being a vagina. Jade being pregnant. The game is there to get "OwO what's this. She's either completely invisible from her 1 or has paws, claws, and 5 eternally enflamed wolf heads. 4 of which float on an aetherial void. She also thematically goes with the anthropomorphic predator huntress trope along with battlebeast and cheetah. She's definitely a furry. Just because she's more kaiju furry than Disney furry doesn't make her not a furry.

She has neither paws nor claws. She has claw embelishments on her boots, Oberon has Hooves on his, so does Dagath. Valkyr also has claws. They are decorations/embelishments.
The heads are not enflamed, and only 1 floats depending on your passive. Either way I fail to see how this proves she's a furry.

Pronoun shit with Xaku is annoying as fuck, but the design itself doesn't represent a fetish - it's simply a warframe assembled from remains of multiple broken ones, stitched together by the power of the Void. It's a neat concept, if they weren't insisting on their pronoun idiocy.
Citrine is themed around geode, you'll have to be really fucking coombrained to see vagina in that. But Reb is also to blame for starting and validating "gemussy".

In fact, I'm gonna complain that Voruna isn't werewolf enough. She looks like a generic warframe that happens to have 4 wolf heads attached to her and her abilities are just status spam. You could stick the same 4 heads on gara's model or garuda's model and nobody would bat an eye.
There was an old concept floating around 10 years ago for a fanmade "Furion" werewolf concept.
That's a way better execution of the wolf theme than voruna ever was.

Really should've been base Oberon if we're being honest. Maybe with a bit more of the deer theming in it. Thematically Oberon is quite good with the nature theme but he just looks lumpy and weird and I've never liked him much because of it.

I remember Furion, it is pretty cool. But Voruna was designed by none other than Joe Madureira, so I can't exactly diss it.
From what I understand, Voruna became quasi-werewolf after the incident that got her doggies killed. She's, at her core, a dog-walker.
