Redditors deadass arguing that there's nothing weird/sexual about garuda's new protoframe and you're a weirdo if you think there is:

Thought something seemed off. At least Sirius gets a ninja mentor

Well, since the big reveal regarding Sirius/Orion and the Ash/Garuda protoframes is already being discussed, I'll be skipping that for this recap:
  • What I will discuss is the associated Railjack missions regarding the two. The Jade Shadows: Constellations update will add the Uranus Proxima, where Sirius and Orion's captured ships are available mission nodes as their timelines (and by extension, their existences) clash.
  • The trailer(s) give the impression the third Orb Mother might get involved (even as a fatality), as will grandpa Hunhow (if he does escape Uranus, I foresee him being involved in our future travels to Tau).
  • The devs showcased the TennoCon pack cosmetics, as well as Dante's Tytonis deluxe skin (I love the shoulderpieces). Baruuk's deluxe on the other hand, will be dropping a post-TennoCon update because the next update will be loaded with content.
  • Reminding players about the upcoming Incarnon adapters: Ballistica, Destreza, Obex (cool), Stug, and Vectis.
The Warframe getting a surprise tune-up is... Nidus!
  • His base health & health regen are getting buffed, and his mutation stack cap is being increased to 200.
    • His Abundant Mutation augment is getting buffed to 300.
  • Virulence now leaves a lingering trail of spikes that generate mutation stacks/deal damage if enemies are on them. There's also some improved pathing down hallways.
    • The Teeming Virulence augment's crit chance bonus is getting a buff.
  • Larva can now be recast, dismissing the previous Larva, and the mutation stack chance from enemies trapped within it now scales with strength.
    • The Larva Burst augment's toxin damage per enemy is getting buffed.
  • Parasitic Link is getting its mutation cost removed, and recasting will now switch targets as opposed to ending the ability early (hold 3 to end it instead). Free-moving companions and Specters can now be linked, and there will be a grace period before the link snaps.
  • Ravenous's AoE now scales with range, and clears any status effects while you're standing on it. The health regen while on its creep is also getting buffed, along with general improvements to its spawned maggots (better AI, faster spawning).
And here are the general QoL/other updates we'll be getting in June:
  • The Corpus Ship tileset will get some lighting updates.
  • Camera offsets in the settings! Now ginormous shoulder pieces/the Coda Bubonico will no longer block your aim.
  • Knockdowns from enemies will be using the self-knockdown animations from explosives. The window for knockdown recovery was also tighter than intended, so that's finally getting more forgiving while adding rolling as a trigger (alongside jumping).
  • DoTs will now be displayed on your health bar, to see if you're cutting it too close with all those slash/toxin/heat/electric/gas procs.
  • Junction bosses are getting updated, using lessons learned from the Commandeered Primes in The Perita Rebellion.
  • Companion XP gain is getting changed so they don't hog all the XP from killing enemies when they're full rank (since they can't equip Focus lenses). Now any companion assists will give the XP to them and you.
  • Four new upcoming Arcanes (2 Warframe, 1 Primary, and 1 Secondary).
  • Steve's planning on improving how metals are rendered (backporting code from Soulframe), so they don't turn into shades of grey in dark environments.
  • If you guys missed joining in on Ash's bladestorm, they'll be fixing that.

The next big update drops in June, with one more Devstream in May.

What's the big deal...? Literally her entire body is covered, sexualized what? She licked her blades?
Maybe the fact that the entire theme of this warframe is gore and bloodlust has something to do with it?

Got around to the Old Peace stuff, finally. Had to take a break from the game.

Uriel's parts are cooking, and I'm currently grinding for my first Tauron. I'm leaning towards making Zenurik my first one.

I still don't like all these proto-Frames they're adding. With the Hex, it was unique to them, so it was fine, but now it feels like they want to make every frame a character, which feels at odds with Warframes being faceless mass-murder machines. That and I can't stand hearing dumb quips while I'm slaughtering hordes of whatever I'm fighting. Maybe they should add a taunt button to aggro bad guys?

At least the Descendia's fun.

Every retard now wants a protoframe of their main, it's lucrative. So they're going to continue doing it.

This. Even most people who think protoframes ruin the aesthetic still want their frame to get its proto before the trend stops. And I kinda do too. I'm hoping Oberon and Titania get their own paired protos as a couple like saryn/frost. DE has been reasonably good about not niggershitting everything up so there's a good chance they might be white too.

Get Vazarin first. They seem to be largely useless, only the Vazarin one lets you cheese revive allies in modes where you have to jump through hoops to bring them back like EDA. Other than that they aren't really worth getting besides for the mods and arcanes that boost your operator mode.

Unairu lets you refill archgun ammo mid deployment which is exceedingly rare. Lets you main an archgun without having to bring dispensary or lavos.

Zenurik is pretty bad; the charge up animation is longer than the actual damage phase of the strike. Vazarin is pretty good for it's revive effect, however it only pulls in enemies on enemies caught in the initial attack and not in the linger. Personally, I would go with Madurai since it's the most "universal" Focus School and the Strike itself does pretty good damage, gives a decent buff, and can be aimed before casting it. That said, the biggest benefit to unlocking a Strike is being able to mod your Operator Amp, so I would start by picking the one that corresponds to the Focus School you use the most.

I'll be a hypocrite and admit I wouldn't say no to a Rhino or Chroma protoframe.

I'm so glad I do not. I'll never use a Gemini proto skin so even if they turn a frame I like into a nignog or some other abomination, I won't feel like I've missed out on anything.

Lore won't get in their way either when it comes to stamping these out, since they just handwave any inconvenience with space magic bullshit (which is why everything is meaningless and there's no stakes).

Protoframes don't violate lore because they're not the original, they're just random people infected with a corresponding frame's helminth strain.

It's not random, at least it wasn't meant to be. Albrecht used it on 1999 crew for a purpose, deliberately. After that it's just anyone for whatever fucking reason.
One doesn't just get protoframed.

They don't violate lore until they do. Just look at Temple. Sure, the Helminth strain is a Ballas original but David Bowie is the human that it turns into the original frame. I wouldn't be surprised if, after all the lore spergs went crazy over pre-Alad V Valkyr and how little sense her prime makes, there's been an internal competition within DE to keep pushing the limit on how absurd a frame's origin story and prime variant can be without causing a full meltdown. They can and will justify whatever they damn please with Eternalism, good world building and storytelling be damned.

Edit: A hotfix dropped with a significant Voruna change.
