Incredible things are happening at Tennocon.

There was even a deathfat dyke marriage proposal (Follie was a very popular cosplay this year for some reason)

Apparently there were people in region chat being based during the proposal, but I was asleep when the whole thing was live.

Even leddit was like "whoa buddy" to the petplay fetish on stage.

Deranged tranny makes it all about himself, because he's afraid if we tell people to stop being degenerates it will affect him too:

lmao these people think putting trannies on the same side as petplay fetishes is good idea.
Someone even points out "no you fucking morons, don't associate this with gays this isn't a winning fight"

Funny thread, you should check it out.

My eyes almost rolled towards the back of my head when I heard Matt Mercer. The quest with Brysko looks like it'll be funny but if the frame won't shut the fuck up in normal play, his wisecracks are gonna wear their welcome really fast.

I feel really conflicted about the Tau sentients. On the one hand it makes sense that they've moved on and developed into a sort of society after the storm passed but, on the other hand, why are they so stupidly human now? The Old War and this have both absolutely ruined everything that was meant to be alien or 'other' about them compared to the Orokin. Now they're just a reskinned futuristic 1999 type shlock. The gentrification is real.

Recap for those who want the highlights.

I'm going to be honest, the whole "it was more interesting when we didn't know anything about them" just starts to come off as fucking whiny. It's been around for 13 years and if people weren't bitching about "demystifying" things, people would be complaining about how "it's been over a decade and still no answers". I just want a fucking interesting story. Go fuck off to Elden Ring if you want vaugeposting in video game format.

I don't care that they demystified them, I always thought complaints about demystification were gay as fuck, I care that they are just weird looking humans in all but name.

There's literally nothing wrong with explaining things if your explenation is good, but in this case imo it wasn't.

This shit is just plain retarded. Flower-sniffing giving them a sense of self was bad enough, but now for some reason Sentients are mimicking 50's New York for that noir flair, with blackjack and hookers. Noir vibes and casinos should've been relegated to Corpus city we never got. They're wasting Tau by making Sentients too much like humans, and they don't seem to care about consistency whatsoever, just throwing shit at the wall.
Warframe devs used to be careful and subtle with their inspirations. but ever since 1999 it's been too on the nose. "Let's have 90's references extravaganza!"; "Let's have World War 1 trench warfare! (and plot that makes no sense)"; "Let's do noir Bladerunner thing!"
And it's all an incoherent mess. I miss old Warframe.

They're gathering the Avengers equivalent of obnoxious NA voice actor clique, makes me wanna fucking vomit.

I don't think Rebecca's input as a creative director has been good for the game, someone should tard-wrangle her and she should stop giving carte blanche to her team like it's candy on Halloween. Game's setting became shallow and pointless, they just do whatever they feel like with no respect for what came before. The entire story past The Sacrifice is a pile of contrived dogshit.

I'm pretty sure The Old Peace made it very clear that there was an attempt to have the Sentients assimilate with Orokins. It does not strain belief that they would carry it forward into the future.

Everything up to and including Duviri was crafted by Steve's hands. All this pissing and moaning about Rebecca. Mafuka, she's been in charge for like 3 fucking years.

My response is a comment someone made before you:

You completely missed the mark on my comment. When I said they were alien or other, I didn't mean back when we only got vague glimpses of them around the time when The Second Dream was a new quest, lol. I'm talking about literally all the way up until the Old War quest where they invented the whole ceasefire meme. Up until that point the Sentient were these bio-organic Skynet AI, and for some reason they straight up decided to move away from it in the dumbest way possible and take away almost all of the things that made the Sentients what they were. Now they're literally just like any other humanoid faction, except stick bug shaped. I don’t want vagueness, I want the weird faction to stay weird. What's next, talking friendly Murmur? Give me a break.
and plot that makes no sense
What, you telling me you don't like James Cameron's Avatar transplanted onto Warframe?

You mean the guy under whose leadership the game started out with us being human mercs for hire wearing exoskeleton suits to magic space teenagers and time travelling alternate adult selves fighting against an eldritch evil? It's blatantly obvious that Steve never really cared about the lore and was never the driving force behind the plot. He always cared more about the technical side of the game.

DE updated the game purely to add the Vessels to the Dry Dock and I just know that there's at least one poor bastard who's going to have to redecorate the entire thing in their dojo. :story:

If you don't have a decent On Call yet, I highly suggest picking up the current Latrox Une. His current spread lets you max out his combat stats.

Also, DE might look at giving us more slider for Signas which... please god...
