So I have managed to go a year and a half without touching the game save like 20 minutes trying Warframe out on the phone when it finally came to android. Is it worth picking up at all again? I stopped shortly after the second wave of 1999 when they added frost and his troubled relationship.

I'm not going to sugarcoat it, it's been a pretty rough 2026 for Warframe with the updates so far. They've added another group in the KIM system, though most of the issues were related to script triggers. There is at least hope since the Amir (Volt dude) Nightwave adventure pisses off pretty much everyone who played it; it might cause DE to really rethink how they handle the KIM system going forward. Now, if we're talking about right now? Well, they just had a mainline update and there are still some bugs and issues as a result, but the rest of them should be ironed out over the next week. That said, if you enjoy the core gameplay and the feel of combat, that's still there. I would say to give DE another week to put out another few hotfixes and give it a try since the worst that happens is you wasted time downloading it.
In drama news: Warframe content creator Pupsker made a video talking about another creator, Brozime, being a bitch. Short story even shorter, Pupsker was in the middle of setting up his Twitch channel for reruns and hadn't yet turned off Twitch drops (which is a manual toggle). During this very brief window, Brozime started shit talking Pupsker who ended up being on the receiving end of Vitriol.
Brozime is one of those guys that I genuinely can't fathom how he has an audience. He is such an annoying whiny faggot. Every video I've watched of his is just endless whining about how anything that is not a top meta pick, is just useless garbage. Pupsker makes absolute slop videos but I would still watch him over that seething tub of lard.

Literally the only thing he had going for him was that he didn't do the usual "THIS [THING] IS OVERPOWERED" ass thumbnails every time something is released.

He (correctly) hates Rivens and makes reasonable Riven-less builds with reasonable justification behind them. Not to the same quality and depth or even brevity as, say, Kengineer, but still a cut above most of the content creation community.

Entire game is easier when you're running solo. I don't even run relic pubs anymore, I'd rather fuck around on my own and get shafted than do fuck all or fight with my team to slaughter the most victims.

Most of what they've added is "repeat this one mission 20 times and you get a new frame" tier content. The fat bitch, the twins and, ice girl, the mushroom and the spider are more or less same content reskinned ad nauseum requiring you to play 1 mission eighty times to get their weapons and parts. If DE is feeling generous that mission will have a new tileset (like nokko) if not, it's gonna be on an existing tileset. (like every other one).
Last update that did some sort of shakeup was the sentient war/tau one with the reworked focus and that's about it iirc.
DE's idea of buffing Kuva drops is just slightly increasing the amount you can by from vendors and lowering the cost. Meanwhile, Kuva Fortress/Siphons/Floods continue to be as worthless as they've been since release for getting Kuva. You can easily spend over a million Kuva just on a single Riven and DE still thinks ~40k from a vendor per week is anything meaningful. I'll be legitimately shocked if Glacial Defiance gives Kuva in drops higher than 10k; there would be no bigger indication of how out of touch DE are when it comes to Kuva than seeing that shit.

Arbitrations were and are the only real farm, for better or worse. I know some people appreciate that between those and Profit Taker there are still a few areas of the game where you can max out your optimisation autism in an age where you can do level cap Cascade without any Forma or potatoes.

Even if you don't use them, they can be sold for a decent amount of plat and the ability for statlocking is only going to make it easier to get decent rolls.
Apparently, thread regular Brap God got permabanned in a sort of a crossfire casualty of the Oneyplays fake screenshot shitshow. Hopefully, he gets unbanned.
Veiled Rifle, Melee, and Shotgun Rivens are an easy 10 plat a pop, if you're willing to sell them. If you don't plan on using them, than can always sell them for some easy plat.
Rivens can be annoying at times but personally it's offset by allowing me to turn some old weapon into a roomclearer in conjunction with Incarnon buffs.
Or by making the Zaw I lovingly named Annudah Shoah viable for more content.
