Well evil doesn't exist, but regardless. No one's born bad. You're molded from your environment, although I don't think Chris had a chance without being completely disconnected from the internet and given intensive therapy to teach him how to function. He was born damned without intervention.

Chris would have never been "normal" exactly, but if his redneck parents had gotten him the professional help he needed at an age where it would have made a difference, he would have been a lot more well-adjusted.

Instead, Bob and the Barblax ignored the advice of experts and literally fled a school system that wanted to get help for Chris's many behavioral problems. More than anything, it was his parents' neglect made him into the delusional, pants-shitting, fat, autistic moron that he is today.

Honestly, it's a perfect storm of a lot of different things finally hitting critical mass.

There are plenty of people with even worse autism and disabilities than Chris who have grown up to forge productive and happy lives.

Barb and Bob really were the worst possible parents Chris could have gotten. The hoarding, emotional manipulation, and hiding him from the special education services really helped warp him. He's still 100% responsible for his actions, but he has chosen to just immerse himself in that excrement instead of working to rise above it.

Not sure what you mean by "born evil", like he's fucking Michael Myers or someone.

If by "evil" you mean "what Chris is" then yes and no. While he was never going to be an Einstein or a Shakespeare, if he had better parents and had maybe grown up in a different society then he could have at least been productive to society in an "I sort glass" kind of way. There are people with far more severe mental disabilities than Chris who have contributed more than he has.

Chris is very high-functioning, if he had the proper care growing up he easily could’ve become a productive member of society.

IMO, the blame for how Chris turned out falls squarely on Bob and Barb. Children don’t know any better, 99% of the time a shitty kid is the direct consequence of a shittt upbringing by shitty parents.
