That malice rant, however, was in regards to Beth Elderkin, the writer of the io9 article. The reason was that Nick believed she intentionally omitted Vic's answers and explanations to her questions.
Nick made an oopsie, he was drunk and didn't notice that the line he thought was omitted was actually in the article and on his screen. There was some thought that he would address this in his "A Correction, a New Brigade, TUG, and Meyer v. Waid" stream, but he didn't.

To this, I'm liable to agree. But there are some hard strung callouts/cases I've seen maybe once or twice (Renard being used as an example because it was the early days of callouts, and yes, it did happen) that made me think. But there are very rare and few between. Any other time I would tell someone to go to the police, and has always been my advice in those cases. Just, sometimes it can be simple harassment and I have maybe all of once told someone to come out and call the person out to his friends (not on any big platform).
