So. Depo's come and gone, and still no shit-take mushrooms from Shane. Must be taking more effort than they expected to fish up something to spin out of context.

Brilliant bad cop attack plan by the super lawyer cadre. Granted any type of bait will see limited effect when there's just not much there to fish up.

It'll be a sight to behold for MoRons' smuckles slowly fading away when they realize Ty wasn't the bad cop. What I would give to be in the courthouse the next two days.

The art of surrender is an art only the Lemoine guy French can truly master.

If you ever get sued, you may be relieved to find out thank God, the lawyer for the other side is a Super Lawyer and will probably fall down a flight of stairs some time during the case after tying his shoelaces together, or just stop breathing from general lack of brain function.

Who is this balding nonentity and what did Hero Hei (I'm assuming) do to him?

Is there something about being an assblasted, bitter, middle aged cuck that makes your hair fall out?

who wants to bet that MoRon and MoRonica keep trying to scurt or avoid answering Ty's questions during the deposition to the point they have to redo the whole deposition because of it?

If they do, they do. I don't think the judge would put up with it, though. It would be fun to see a Texas judge going full hanging judge in a fucking deposition, though. He can do anything up to and including outright throwing someone in jail for contempt on the spot.

We don't have that super lawyer bullshit over here in Germany, otoh, being sued for defamatiion surely wouldn't be fun either, in Germany defamation is a so called "Ehrdelikt" (english: tort against the honor) and therefore would be handled as a criminal lawsuit and not as a civil lawsuit.

That sounds worse than it is, I'm told, in that it's pretty easy to get someone fined for libel, but you don't generally see the giant verdicts you get in the United States, just a fine and told to knock it off.

Based on the fact the new guy did the deposition of Vic, and his lines of questioning, it seems pretty apparent they are gearing up to file TCPA with the basis that he is a public figure. I assume BHBH is prepared for this. Can't wait for the depositions today and tomorrow.

Basically, he felt they never expected to get this far, never did the basic game theory on what Vic and BHBH would do, and hey, now they have to face depositions tomorrow.
Wouldn't surprise me because that's literally the dumbest thing imaginable, which fits everyting they've done so far.
Not preparing for any lawsuit is pretty dumb. Not preparing when your opponent is a war nerd who chose a fucking chess piece and a latin translation of a sun tzu maxim for his firm's logo is the legal equivalent of bending over and asking for it harder and drier.

They pretty much guaranteed that they get no lube by acting all antagonistic.

Fun story from my job today: I was talking to a weeb-y coworker and brought up that I don't watch much but have been following a lolsuit about a voice actor, and she immediately perked up and asked "Vic?"

Turns out that normies are on Vic's side too, not just KF. Imagine that. Turns out that some of women aren't into the baseless #metoo bullshit either!

I feel this twitter conversation I had is relevant.

The judge will be there to make sure there aren’t any shenanigans.

It’s like when businesses pay to be highly rated by the BBB.

IMO. Barring cases of legitimate sexual assault, which should be pursued through proper channels first and foremost, most women aren't ok with baseless #metoo-ing. It only ends up hurting other women who'd never do such a thing in the long run especially for those who work in male dominated positions or male dominated work places because why would any man take a female underling under their wing with the risks that 'listen and believe' bring? when they could mentor another man with almost no chance of that happening.

If anyone is aware of how stupid the #MeToo movement is, it is women, just by understanding the catty/mean/vindictive/emotionally vicious way we can be from being born/raised female.

I work in a male dominated field and have seen the effects of this bullshit movement personally. It affects my ability to be picked for advancement and to develop camaraderie with my male co-workers. For years I had no problem settling in as 'one of the guys' but now anyone new is super wary and if I go to different work sites it's the same. It's given male employees a wariness of female employees and that their harmless jokes might be taken out of context or completely blown out of proportion, not to mention most of the male employees are no longer ok with working alone with a female co-worker.

That's true but in that case accusing someone with a crime it could also end in an wrongful accusation lawsuit. if you accuse someone of being a rapist you better have the evidence/witnesses/victims to back that claim up.
But yes, mostly it's a fine which is based on daily rates calculated from defendants income, albeit when you get more than 21 daily rates in that fine it still gets you an entry in your rapsheet and therefore makes you a convicted felon.
IMHO, the Vic v Moron et al lawsuit is nice and dandy, but in the end, Vic will win a pyrrhic victory and MoRon will continue with their defamation, never even paying what ever amount Vic will win. Effectively they've killed his carreer as he most possibly will never work as a VA again and all they get is a slap on the wrist with an, for Vic, unenforceable Million dollar in damages.

Akiva Cohen or why almost the whole world thinks Jews are condescending, arrogant shmucks.

Tbh, I find it highly amusing that of all people that idiot calls out other peoples lack of a basic legal background, while he himself doesn't know jackshit about Texas law and didn't even took his time to read up the facts and more or less is just spouting bullshit for Twitter points.
