I hate Borrasca so much. I don’t understand how they consider that a “masterpiece” but something like Pancake Family to be “meh.” I feel like I’m taking crazy pills

When the story starts getting bad (which isn't too far away) the boys start riffing on it pretty hard, and it's hilarious. Actually laughed out loud towards the end, the narrative goes full "My Job was Watching a Woman Trapped in a Room".

Creepcast is at its best when it covers really good stories or absolute abominations, there's no in between. I miss the days of back to back Left-Right Game to Penpal,
or Psychosis/Feed the Pig/It Bleeds, It Breathes, It Breeds. Given how hard it is to find decent Internet horror I'll take three hour dissections of dog turds. Apparently Borrasca V is notoriously awful so I'm looking forward to them covering it - now if only'd they finish the other three parts of The Thing in the Basement and the last two Tommy Taffy sequels.

I was in a bit of a bad mood this morning but once I got to the part where they got in the jeep and started driving I couldn't stop laughing

Meat getting really into singing Highway to Hell, running out of lyrics he knew, and swapping over to Shoot to Thrill/Thunderstruck was adorable.

Quality wise I'd rate the parts 7-5-2. The original was fun on its own, the middle was irritating, came back strong (in the wrong way) at the end

Watched/listend to Deepwoods. That was just bad. I literally don't have anything more scathing to say than that. What a nothing story.

Genuinely hated this story more than any of the other bad stories they've covered.
It's like you've pirated some movie, the first act is legit, then the second and third act are just an extended version of a family guy cut-away gag about that same movie.

Cracks were already showing in the first act but nothing, absolutely nothing close to the atrocity it became.
The author should stick to murderporn wrapped up with a bow of using teenage characters to excuse shoddy writing & coming of age cliches like borrasca and never bother writing anything involving adults or creatures ever again.

The sheer length of time they went on was great too. I didn't time it but at least listening to it for the first time it just felt like it was going to go on forever. You could really feel how much he didn't want to go back to the story
