Wendigoon Thread

That's going to end up being a 20 hour video given they have to stop and giggle or analyze after every fucking paragraph.
From the sounds of it, whatever it was has already been recorded and it was eight hours but they recorded it not knowing they were going to have issues releasing it. Unless new info is out Spire in the Woods is what people were speculating based on the length and inability to upload but I don't think there's anything conclusive. For that particular story the problem isn't the author, but whoever bought the rights to do something with the story are massive dicks who are just sitting on it and dmca anyone who tries to read it/reupload the text etc

I listened to it during a night shift and that's one of the last stories I could see working as a movie.

Nah, just let this podcast die, the main draw hosts are long gone and Jackson is dull and isn't good at research. Besides, the show was flawed in it's format and premise that made a lot of episodes awkward to listen to.
I’m going be completely honest I’d entirely forgotten it until I read your post, didn’t even know Wendi had left.

This author seems a lil sus but I hope this one's better than the last
He's got a thread on the farms, basic tl:dr SJW that makes decent horror art and stories but spergs alot, has an upcoming TTRPG called Mortasheen that won't ever come out.

Wendi wishes everyone a happy Easter.

The alphabet people won't be happy

Got to say, parasites are a fear that’s ingrained in my DNA. Even the concept of them wig me the fuck out.
This story played with it, but took a turn midway through that while I didn't mind, turned things from genuinely kinda wigging me out to a fun b-movie. For parasite horror, an oddly sizable genre when you think about it, It Breathes, It Bleeds, It Breeds was really good at that. I've been catching up on old episodes because I rarely have time to listen to hours of content, but Hunter's growing on me now I used to find him more annoying.

He's overdoing it though. It's distracting and comes off as forced and pretentious.
I agree, albeit I don't think it's that bad, the only story that I out-and-out disliked was the "anima mundi" one (left me in a fugue state by the end). With that said, this sort of writing definitely doesn't fit for the podcast.

Both of these dudes struggle with the simplest fucking words, constantly. It doesn't make sense.
One can forgive the occasional slip of the tongue given the difficulty of sight-reading out loud, for an audience no less, but they do do it surprisingly often.
