Wendigoon Thread

You get weak shit like this and goats that freak him the fuck out.
The thing to know about goats is that their heads are so itchy, which really ruins the ambiance of folk horror.

Black Phillip asks you if you want to live deliciously, he'd probably give you a pretty dress and the taste of butter just for scratching his forehead and orbital ridge for a while.

It's never not be funny to me that Dazai is known more in Japan for his Hashire Melos/Run Melos story than the Ningen Shikkaku/No Longer Human. If Dazai was alive in this era and age, he most likely would have had livestream his suicide
He'd have been a blackpilled imageboard user. Livestreaming his suicide is part and parcel of that.

This is the problem with Wendigoon being such a wholesome Christian boy

You get weak shit like this and goats that freak him the fuck out.
He went through some of the cult and serial killer stuff that was monumentally worse, though I guess it hits differently when you actually see stuff from personal angle rather than a historical lens.

As bonus he was also on the Halloween episode of Art and War with Nathan and Lucas.

Our guy's been busy this Halloween season with collaborations all over the place-
He swapped spooky videos with Mista GG and I've timestamped in the video where he freaks out at one them, it's pretty funny.

He's talked about horror films with Papa Meat and almost all the ones they recommend each other are solid. A good few videos to check out if you're looking for some recommendations.

I wonder why Wendigoon pronounces "YHWH" or "Yəhōwā" as "Jehovah". I thought most people now used "Yahweh" or just "LORD" in English.
You'll have to timestamp this so I can get context lol, but I've always heard "Jehovah" used in church whenever talking about the Old Testament, think mainly because that's what's written in the KJV.

He was talking about how the Christian God and the Jewish God were the same thing, or at least before Jesus. I think finding a timestamp could be pretty hard. I wonder if there's some way to download the automatic Youtube transcript and search it?

Well, the way I was taught, "Jehovah" is Jesus' heavenly name before he was born. Jesus fulfilling the law of Moses meant that he could technically shed that name and go by what he was given as the Messiah, but when you're the Son of God, you can go by many different names as even to this day, Jesus can still be referred to as the Great Jehovah by Christians. But that's just how I see it.

Yeah, I went until I was about 18 knowing "Jehovah"

I don't think I learned of the Yahowa pronunciation until I was in my late teens when I took a world history class in college. I may have heard it in an Indiana Jones film as a kid actually, but it didn't register.

The King James Bible and other old translations use "Jehovah", and evangelical Christians in the South tend to favor these translations of the bible. It's kind of like how black Christians will often use "Yeshuah" instead of "Jesus," it's just a preference for one version of the name. I grew up in the South, and everyone I know used "Jehova", "God", or "Lord". I didn't know about "Yahweh" as a name for God until I was in high school.
