Wendigoon Thread

Trailer just dropped.
I blame this movie and defenders of it on STALKER GAMMA, a modpack for STALKER Anomaly created by a narcissistic French faggot that goes by the name of Grokitach. OperatorDrewski, a notorious milsim YouTuber faggot, shilled it as a super awesome milsim shooter you can play for free, and it has led to a massive subversion of the STALKER fanbase, as if the massive divide caused by the war in Ukraine wasn't bad enough.

And speaking of Grok, he is a lolcow in his own regard. His very first reaction to the news of the war in Ukraine was this:

Yes, his very first thought when he heard that Ukraine has been invaded was that more people would play his shitty modpack. A modpack that uses stolen addons that he constantly weasels out of crediting, and also to install it in the first place, you have to join his Discord server, download an executable from it, and have two separate partitions to use to install it.

Grok is also so egotistical that when someone made a modpack for Anomaly that aims to make it more like the old trilogy with MISERY bullshit, based on a modpack that aims for making it more like Call of Chernobyl with all the MISERY bullshit ripped out, this was his reaction to this comment thread:

Yeah, he is mad that other people are making modpacks with a different vision than his, probably because he sees it as a threat to his ego and fame.

Some more tidbits I got from /sg/:

grok phd.jpg
He gloats about having a PhD and 2 post docs at 31 years old as if that makes him look intelligent when the most successful thing that he has done is a modpack for a mod that stems from other mods of an old janky game.

grok annexation.jpg
He also gloats about his mod being bigger than STALKER itself, which just further shows how narcissistic he is. Notice how the newfags all come from Drewski's video, which is the only reason Grok's modpack was so successful.

He is pretty much hated in every STALKER community that's not subverted by milsim fags. r/stalker will suck him off because they've been completely subverted by tourists, and the old guard has either fucked off to /sg/, or /sg/ was too retarded for them and went to Discord cliques. Speaking of /sg/, anons there tend to derail the thread seething about him, and all the Discord screencaps I got from there. There's probably more Grok lore in the /sg/ archives if someone is interested in making a thread, if they think Grok warrants one.

Really enjoyed the latest Creepcast. Another story I was unfamiliar with, The Left-Right Game. I wish they'd stopped just a biiit earlier than they did, the last scene they covered was where the story jumped the shark into silliness vs almost perfectly maintaining my favorite flavor of eeriness for the first three hours or so, and if I hadn't heard that part of it I'd be on the edge of my seat for part 2, or potentially reading the rest of the story if I ever have a minute to catch my breath lol

Feels like they're getting the hang of it. Wendi did the narration and played one character and Meat played the rest of the characters, and they praised the story without just repeating "Man it's so good" over and over

though he does come off as alot more critical of Randy than he was of the Branch Davidians.
In my honest opinion? It's just him saving face following his very minor but apparent "canceling" on Reddit, where he was forced at proverbial gunpoint to make a public statement announcing that he is not right wing – in front of a tribunal of trannies and furries. It seems to me like he's basically saying, "Randy Weaver ran in the same circles as Nazis – WHO ARE ALL EVIL GUYS THAT I HATE – but he wasn't a Nazi himself."

Judging how badly he caved into the woke mob with his official Twitter statement, it seems like he's obviously covering his own ass.

Also Weird Bible today. Apparently them recording in-person was just a one-off special thing for the return which is a bummer, hopefully they can get the technical issues ironed out when they go back to the live format

Eh. Personally I've always preferred the live shows anyway. For all the issues they've had it feels a lot more intimate and personal when they do it live from completely different locations. I think it works better for what they're trying to do, too, and they've got good enough chemistry for it.

Though I haven't watched it yet so who knows maybe my opinion will change.

In my opinion this is pretty good, similar to the Waco video in a lot of ways, though he does come off as alot more critical of Randy than he was of the Branch Davidians.

I thought it was good, better then some of the last few videos. Wendi did come right and say he did not agree with Randy (on a handful of things) but, it doesn't matter what he did or did not do, he did not deserve this.

In my opinion he defended and was fairly objective given disagreeing with him. He did praise the daughter which was sweet.

I think the video also took time to acknowledge Randy’s actions in part because of the size of his channel. If he didn’t disavow the parts he likely LEGITIMATELY disagrees with and can find fault with, I doubt he’s being performative about not liking genuine Nazi’s after all, someone would try and start shit with him 1000%. Blaming him for that would be pretty dumb imo, and it isn’t as if he was remotely kind to the Feds in there, much the opposite.

Overall a pretty good video imo, though I’m surprised it didn’t come closer to the Waco one. Considering the amount of record manipulation and ass covering the Feds did though, I imagine part of the delay was trying to work out what HE thinks actually happened.

Wendigoon did a Ruby Ridge video.
The video reminded me listening Count Dankula's version of the story while driving to the army base in the middle of the night. Strange times.

Anyways it's an alright video chronicling the events. I liked the long rant on how the ATF regulations not only make no sense, but in some situations actually go against their stated goals. Wendigoon went a little too hard on the guy for associating with the wrong circles. When in the end, he got disproportionate punishment for the crime of falling for an obvious trap of "can you saw off the shotgun for me?".

I think Dank's video was better for focusing on that chink sniper that prided himself on headshot of a woman in front of her children.

While I don’t agree with Wendigoon’s view on this, I suspect heavily that the reason he focused so much on that because he pretty much HAD to acknowledge and condemn that aspect of Randy to begin with… and also that he just found it distasteful. As a religious man himself, Wendigoon almost certainly found personal fault with Randy’s thought process and justifications, and included in that is the people that he was at the very least willing to work with. Again, I don’t agree with that point of view, but I do think that at least some of why he was so heavily against that aspect was genuine distaste.

Issue is that it doesn't matter. Dank said it best in his video, that in the end there is no proof that Randy was neo nazi and he didn't have a lot of choice to not associate with them considering they were his neighbours. At most you can criticise the couple for being fire and brimstone Christians, but the issue with that is that the government proved them 100% right.

And once you don't have that, the rest of the criticism of Randy boils down to "lol, why not spend 10 years in prison and ruin your family life for a crime you've been manipulated into?"

Wendigoon not understanding how the events of ruby ridge could radically alter the outlook Randy had on his life from that point on is baffling.

The man had to lift his dead wife off of their smothered infant. Put his dead son in a shed. Being sanctimonious about him being bitter afterwards is a level of moral grandstanding I find to be deeply retarded.

I have heard this story narrated before (Dark Somnium did a pretty good reading of it) - to potentially save you some time, I will say to you, it gets infinitely more silly/dramatic/retarded the longer it goes on. Which is very disappointing because the start was so strong and interesting.

They are certainly getting better at their format though. It's pretty chill listening for my Sundays when I'm lazing about doing a puzzle.

I'm planning on listening to it either way unless it gets unbearable just because I need content to get through the work week and I'd prefer to have something I haven't listened to a hundred times already but I appreciate the heads up. I'll just have to hope it gets silly enough to round the bend from bad-bad to good-bad. Maybe Meat will realize it and just start playing every character as exceptionally exceptional. Based on Wendi's tastes I'm assuming he'll take it seriously the whole way through
