Again, it will vary depending on region. Ancestor worship, connection to nature, holistic health and healthcare, preservation of cultural roots that go back thousands of years provided you don't live in Burgerstan, worship of gods as an embodyment of aspects of life, society, and culture, rituals to commune with or seek abstract advice from spirits, duality in the sexes and a sexual binary as represented by The Lord & The Lady. These are some morals and worldview that you will see. I can't speak for all of them because this is a general overview of several very different religons that get lumped together as Paganism. Christians do not hold a monopoly on morality and world view.

In regards to cultural roots I said that it's fine if the person actually was born to such households (of course not the case of a white alt righter decides to worship Odin despite being closer genetically to someone worshipping Sango). But besides this edgecase I'd need to see an example of a community who does this shit that isn't just wanting to be snowflakes.

And yeah Christianity has a monopoly on morality and world view considering our entire western culture is based on the Bible/New Testament worldview and countries that aren't based on it are fucking awful places to live in. Heck every time in media a writer tries to use the "pagan are the real good guys" it's entire whitewashed than anything of note and is just Environmentalism and woke ideology.

There is something to say about horror showing different lens of human connection and ability to overcome crises, but eventually it's not really horror, just a self congratulating mantra. Horror needs to have an edge and a purpose, otherwise it's just pointless.

As for the stories, I find it kind of ironic that Ben Drowned, what may be considered the start of the whole haunted gaming genre of creepypasta, totally fumbled the bag near the end and killed whatever intetesting things it had going for it.

Can't really say much about Squidward's Suicide. Nothing new, anyway.

Normal Porn for Normal People was the most interesting out of all of these. Honestly, it kind of strikes me as a spoof of those super graphic, super gory creepypastas that were popular around this time--stuff like the Dating Game and Squidward's Suicide, among many others--except it doesn't show anything graphic or super sexual, but you just know something really bad is definitely happening behind the scenes and it makes all the more unnerving. Gotta agree with Hunter, 1999 would have been greatly improved if the episodes followed this kind of subtlety.

The chimp thing totally ruins it though. I understand wanting some sort of big scary climax to end the story, but that whole video just goes in the complete opposite direction of what was being shown earlier. Perhaps if the two were doing something innocuous like having a tea party or some shit and the chimp just spazzed out and started eating her face and had to be shot it may have worked, but as a whole it's just too overt for this kind of story.

I think I might like this format of doing a handful of smaller stories maybe with a theme than their existing format of one long story. It's just more digestible than a four hour long podcast. Not to say there's not a place for that but I think this works better for the most part.
