Wendigoon Thread

I know all the reddit stories have redditisms and shit, but Spire in the Woods turned me off of the story in the first like half hour with how many it kept cramming in the start of the story. I tapped out and have never looked back.

Usually, their end of episode "It's not all bad" cope session just upsets me, but I do agree Church in the Woods feels like a first draft. That's obviously no shield from criticism and a story getting shit on. You posted the first draft, and you get dunked on.

I haven't checked this thread in ages but just wanted to note his wife hasn't uploaded any vids to that channel she made since she made a second video that no one even talked about. Been a dead account for 3+ months now.
His content is getting increasingly reddit-tier imo. I started watching him for his vids on religious stuff and ARGs and whatnot, so maybe the subjects just aren't my cup of tea anymore, but I feel like in general the way he talks about stuff feels different. As if a NoSleep writer is writing his scripts or something.

The second channel videos STINK of reddit. So I can only imagine he either has them help write more of his stuff (they are employees right? Why not use them more?) or he's copying their mannerisms. He does act differently than he used to and I don't like it.

He doesn't write the second channel videos at all. He just has someone write a script for him and then he reads it. I'm sure he adds a detail here and there but the wendigang videos are specifically as low effort as possible (on his part) so he didn't want them to clog his main channel

Having redditor fags write videos, and then cranking them out lazily onto a second channel is so gay and lame. You can tell its only done for some extra dough and not because he gives a shit for the topics he's covering- which, hey- make your money Wendi, I can't blame you for that. But those vids just aren't worth your time, wait for a main channel upload instead.

I guess it makes sense why Isaiah is suddenly trying to bring in as much cash as possible with his reddit churn channel.

Kayla looks dead-on like a cunty horse-girl I dated through my sophomore and Jr years. Weirds me out. She's also extremely boring. Based on the OG patreon podcast between her and goon, I'm not surprised her channel is dead. She's just not interesting.
 
I hate this guy, his blood meridian video is some of the worst youtube literary analysis I've ever seen and now every retard knows about 'The Judge' but has never even read the book.

I read the book because he covered it, but before watching the video. I like the part where the Judge dances for eternity in a "oh I hate this" kind of way.

'Blood Meridian' is an incredibly significant literary work and equating it to, like, a horror movie is the same as calling 'The Illiad' an action-superhero story or (this is so annoying) calling 'The Divine Comedy' a "fan-fic".

I'm glad you read it, it really is a beautiful and, imo, perfect novel.
