Wendigoon Thread

No, he's always been this faggy. It's a feature, not a bug.

Wait, I haven't seen the video just yet but why did Wendi cry about the Ypsilanti shit?
It was in response to a severely mentally ill man who had been abused his entire life receiving a fake letter that he thought was from real person who cared about him all in an attempt to break him out of his psychosis. The man had no idea it was fake, and began to cry because it was the nicest thing anyone had ever done for him.

This in turn made Wendi cry because the situation is just so cruel, and since the man had already suffered enough.

I don't think it's faggy at all for someone to get emotional over that but what do I know? I guess doing so is somehow considered gay nowadays.

In the real manosphere world, having feelings and not just beating up or shitting on people is gay.

I do understand hating it if you think it's performative. Performative emotional responses are very gay.

I'll be honest, it felt too performative when I saw it. Like yeah I'd get teary eyed when something extra sad happens, but weeping on camera for several seconds is excessive.

Openly crying on a non-live feed is always a gay performance because you could easily edit it out or do another take after collecting yourself. You cry on camera and leave it in because you know people are gonna glom on to it and pat your ass for being a sensitive wholesome bean. Plus he's gotten less emotional when detailing the horror show of the Anthill Kids or when talking about how beautiful the imagery of Heaven and Mary were in Divine Comedy.
Think it's fair if people are put-off by this instance.

I'm partway through the Ypsilanti video, anyone else reminded of Chris Chan when they hear what the Jesus boys get up to?
Yeah, it makes me wonder if the combination of forced interaction, positive attention, see-what-they-do stimulation, and documentation was studied... by reality show producers.

I was glad Wendi touched on the awful movie. They had a perfectly good true story, painstakingly documented, and then they just took the name and shot something else completely. At least 30 Minutes or Less had the decency class internal consistency to pretend they'd never heard of Brian Wells.

I just keep thinking about how the trolls would catfish Chris, and how the doctor wrote the fake letters to the three men from people they ought to respect, especially Leon and his Yeti wife. Or how their delusions never crack, even when they can say what someone else is doing identical to them is wrong, like when Chris chided people for being gay or transgender and then became whatever he is, or when he scolded Lars for buying model boats when Chris obviously did the same thing with video games and toys. and of course, Chris in the modern day sees himself as Jesus, and these guys were Jesus. There were weird mother/wife things going on with one of the Jesus guys, and Chris and Barb....eugghh. But like it's all there, I don't want to effortpost a whole essay or anything but I want someone smarter than me to put together bits of Christory and how they line up with the Ypsilanti experiment. There's something there, I just know it. Maybe Christian is schizophrenic.

Got through The Ocean is Much Deeper Than We Thought and I mostly liked it. Nothing super special, but I was thinking it'd make for a fun low budget Dead Space (but underwater) knockoff the whole time. I don't think it has enough meat for a huge AAA game but it could be a nice little 5-10 hour romp through the ocean
