That was a really fun story but hunter was on edibles or something and didn't give a damn about the content of the podcast this ep, seems like it was filmed right after the smile dog episode. He went on a rant about the milky way being in a marble at the end on men in black was terrifying, how he wanted to cum on his pc screen for the monster in the story to eat it and then how people should have sounded their cocks with metal rods when the monsters were screeching. He's talking alot about dicks and jerking off at the end lmao.

Still a very entertaining episode though would recommend.

My favorite part of Creepcast is the actually kind of brutal sniping we keep getting. Meat shitting on Wendi's "Let's fucking gooooo." Wendi shitting on Meat's "That's so sick."

I'm wondering how much of this is well meaning banter and how much is actual vitriol. I used to think Matt and Pat of Two Best Friends were doing a gimmick until it turned out they actually fucking hated each other the whole time. I'm wondering if we're going to get an explosion a year from here where it turns out Meat and Wendi could barely fucking stand each other.

Hunter can be insufferable sometimes.
 
The literal "as you know" infodump was unnecessary, or at the very least should have been told in the narration. Or maybe you could even have a bit of drama—"no Yuri Lukashenko (or whatever his name was) ever went into space, who really are you?" and by grilling him figure out the lost cosmonauts theory themselves, and Yuri has a devastating moment realizing his own country unpersoned him. This would change his character development quite drastically, too...

A nitpick, but you could not take photos of the space station from the ground. Or with satellites. Or with the Hubble Telescope. It's a small thing, I know, but I can just quickly look it up and find these pictures of the ISS from the ground, and see that you surely would not be able to see scratches and dents on something 1/8th the size of this. Besides that, it's just common sense that things don't work that way.

Besides that, the story suffers from being somewhat uninteresting. From Event Horizon to fucking Among Us, "there's something on the ship / station with us" trope has been done so many times now. Not to mention how Lovecraftian it went by the end. One of the few things going for it was how it tried to ground itself in our world and our reality, but it doesn't toe the line that well. This story is kind of generic, and the premise and idea behind it is also kind of generic and overdone, and I don't think there's much more beyond that.

Found an interesting take in the comments. I don't know the validity but it's still pretty interesting.

It's been a few months since I last watched an episode and this one was damn uncomfortable at points. If it's a bit it's fucking annoying.

It's pretty accurate, I made a similar observation a while ago. But I was talking about just people pitching their novels there, but screenplays make sense too.

I wonder if these authors that actually get published off their NoSleep stories update their stories to better fit a novel instead of a reddit post. In some cases the story would have to be entirely restructured.

Would be really funny to open up the PenPal book and at the second chapter see "I told my mom about the first chapter of this novel and she said 'why don't you tell them about the fucking balloons?!?!?' "

God it's so obnoxious moralising about age of marriage of 500 year old societies, especially as the aristocracy had such better living conditions compared to everyone else. Ditto not needing to keep repeating how Henry was an asshole as if it's not the one thing people remember most about him.

Dude was an absolute unit though.
