I'm not a mathematician by any means, but the over-reliance people nowadays have on calculators is horrifying. Back in my day if you got caught using a calculator in school it was an instant redo/failure on the assignment/test. Nowadays it's apparently encouraged to use a calculator even on important math tests.

I fully believe inability to do basic math without a calculator has contributed to the ever increasing retardation of the youth, and that we need to go back to banning them in schools.

The thing about lolcows is that people change or reveal their true nature when they fet rich and famous. Nick was a fairly normal guy who got big on youtube had a midlife crisis and started having drug fuled swinger parties and threw everything away for a whore. Idubbbz was fairly normal seeming and now he is an pilled out zombie married to the worst woman in the world. Wendi has gotten rich and famous and is friends with other rich and famous people, the fact his advice for a creator who uses AI was to pay for a TEAM of artists to work on his project shows he is getting out of touch. What kind of cow he will be, I can not say. But being a lolcow is always in the cards for creators who do not know how to handle fame and wealth.

I don't use Xitter and haven't read any of the xitter posts that have been screencapped here but he's mentioned it before. Not specifically in an argument against AI as far as I remember, but they watched a couple of AI generated clips of what AI thinks hell is in the USERNAME 666 CreepTV and they were very spoopy. I don't think he literally said AI is the devil but he mentioned that AI could be a way for demons to speak without speaking and that's why it's so good at representing hell, and also the microchips=sigils thing

That would probably make for a fun video, just covering all the technodemonic theories, like barcodes being the antichrist and what I mentioned above. It might not be something he'd be able to research though, at least not in full, since he's pretty adamant about never owning or even looking at sigils

Bro, I pitched the Pyramid on the Prairie. Never stood a chance. I'm sort of glad that there isn't a single YouTuber I've tried to work for that left me in the dark and turned out to not be like this or worse.

I think is worse than that because he sucks up Kister so hard, so he clearly doesn't have a problem about people taking and repurposing stuff other people made for their own work or clearly lacking the talent themselves to make art the way they meant it.

I am not an AI fan but this right here is why Wendigoons little tirade annoyed me. Every single hit piece he does on any Analog Horror project will always ring to me as him just being the cool kids attack dog. It must have chaffed Keister that Angel Engine was getting attention.

Besides I'm old enough to remember when the youtube aristic creators tried to stop the reactors. Who they swore (rightly I might add) would decimate their views and make it unprofitable for people to make money creating on youtube. So I find it extremely ironic that Wendigoon is raging against AI when his kind (the reactors/commentators) did way more damage to online media creation.

He could have made a much better video if he'd kept it to the "but is it author intent or is it accidental" complaint, and then the big-brain irony thing about how the story is about squandering divine power to construct machine gods.

Address it, but not rake the author over the coals about it. He got lost doing a "discuss this work" video and turned it into an "AI BAD" video, while still keeping the author at the center of it like a bad example.

It's a dumb argument, if the artist makes the decision to include it in the final product, then it is all intentional, the AI is not the one who has final say on what is or isn't included. Music, films, paintings, sculptures, and so on often have unintentional elements or mistakes that the creator will leave in for one reason or another. Besides, Wendi isn't this anal retentive about "muh artist's intention" when it comes to cheap CGI, bad acting, awful writing, or photoshopped stock images that are certainly not what the artist had in mind, but it's what he got.

Drove past the Nekoma Pyramid once when I was a kid. Shit freaked me out even though I didn't understand why.
I've always believed that prairies were creepier than woods. Woods and forests might be creepy because of the shit that can hide behind trees. But even scarier to me is what can hide when there's nothing to hide behind. And add a cold night when everything is completely still and you feel how really alone you are. It's giving me goosebumps thinking about it. Or even when all you hear is the wind howling.

Those thumbnails ALWAYS looked like they were touched up with AI, did Isaiah never notice that? And their creepcast openings come off that way too. I don't think they're 100% AI, but it seemed obvious AI was being used somewhere.

In before Isaiah goes on the defensive saying its fine when HE does it since it's just thumbnails.

I disagree. It's the equivalent of saying "Bro cooking is a lost art because people follow recipes" or "How will the kiddies know how to connect these two pieces of wood if they use the lazy hammer and nail?" It's technology. People will always use it because it makes the task easier so we can use that effort into doing something else. And it's better to learn how to use that technology in an ever evolving technological world

The thumbnails, the intro, the backgrounds, and at this point I wouldn't be surprised if the music is AI as well because of how fucking close it is to STALKER sometimes.
