He's said before that he's waiting to be credited with solving/helping solved the case of the boy in the box and I'm 99% sure he's serious. I can't remember exactly what happened but I thought it was just bringing a renewed interest in the case but I could be wrong.

I mostly like Mattis but I don't think he's ever espoused any especially based opinions. He's just a 115 IQ turbosperg which is something I appreciate in the right context, like History Unhinged, but the occasional instance where his politics come out, like during superchats on Lore Lads, I've never really been impressed. He's just libertarian with all the baggage that entails. Conspiracy sperg that he is I think he got oneshot by the epstein files which is probably part of his current spergout given Massie's involvement in that even if he's not talking about it directly (I barely skimmed the posted posts so not sure what he's said beyond Israel sperging). It's not like Europe doesn't have their own version of cryptids. And most of those are pretty much the same in both continents. Either big beast that defies explanation, or something that replaces humans.

Oh fuck absolutely. The first 10 minutes of the first episode was literally just self promotion and advertisements. Also he partnered with some cryptid museum, but rather than promote them and do a collab about the topic, he just said fuck it and immediately did his own thing making his own list that had no rhyme or reason for their groupings. Then in the end last video he was complaining about the low views the series gets because iceberg videos were two years out of style when he started the cryptid series. He said he will finish the list, but that was over a year ago so it is safe to say the series is dead.
That was when I stopped watching him and could tell he was going to shit, I checked out at the right time. I'm still annoyed that series was bad since cryptid shit is cool
