Honestly, it's not even that as, really, fiction is fiction and there's worse even in that realm, it's Meat. He just constantly shits all over Christianity as he is le edgy boi but at some point pretty much anyone serious about their faith would tell their co-host, not just his friend but a guy he is on air with in a professional capacity, to just knock it off while you're recording at the very least.
It reflects poorly on Wendi, and I get it I work with and around a couple people who hate Christianity but we just don't discuss religion at work and I clock in and clock out and am not a public figure who's coworker is a guy I choose to run a show with while he's just being plain rude to the point it feels like a personal attack on Wendi at this point.
Like, what is going on man do you just have no testicular fortitude or do you not care so long as you make a buck or what?

His glazing of that shitty RE movie on Xitter has annoyed me more than any of the other stuff mentioned so far. I knew he didn’t have discerning taste in anything but jeez louise his comments are really hypocritical (given what he covers) and embarrassing.

I actually think Meat is, at this point, trying to see if he can Wendi legitimately worked up about any kind of principled stance on anything.
I know a closet chud IRL who listened to a bit of Creepcast and he is not in that Zoomer video essay world at all. He called Wendi a girly dweeb who he suspects to be secretly some type of repressed gay and he loves Meat because he’s very juvenile in his humor, but yeah bro I can’t argue with that assessment if you wanna know the truth about it.

Just saw that movie today, if it were just a zombie movie it wouldn't be great but it would be fine. No where near as good as weapons and the ending and not telling people it's a dark comedy really hurts the movie to me.

When I was watching it I knew it wasn't all that good but I still really enjoyed it because it was the first halfway decent movie I'd seen in years. I've gone to see a few that I enjoyed since then but it's really a testament to just how shit movies are now that a completely average horror movie was getting glazed like a generational hit.

I will say Weapons was a bit better than that shit show Barbarian, but I also really don't like Justin Long these days.
Last time I remember liking Justin Long was in Jeepers Creepers and Waiting. There might be others but those are the first two that come to mind.
Forgot about Dodgeball as well.
He's definitely better than Jay Baruchel and DJ Qualls though I put them all in the category of "loser beta twinks"

I remember liking Accepted.

I am mainly aware of DJ Qualls through The New Guy and Supernatural. Haven't really watched much of Jay Baruchel's work.

Jay Baruchel is Judd Apatow and Seth Rogen's bottom bitch. Undeclared, This is the End. He did write the film Goon and as a hockey fan I'll give him credit for that. But as an actor he's annoying and extremely faggy and low T.
I know DJ Qualls from Hustle and Flow and the memes on 4chan about him being dead. And as another case of my gaydar being absolutely correct years before he himself came out of his tiny closet.

Oh man, MOLE is great. It is very Mouthwashing-coded, but I think I liked it a little more. It had some fun puzzles too. I wasn't crazy about one section near the end, but I could say the same about Mouthwashing and the monster section near the end too.

Fuck Zach Cregger. All he's done is piss on the legacy of WKUK. Sam and Timmy are faggots too. I know it's off topic as hell but man. They started censoring their old skits and doing apologies on their live show about how they "only said slurs because the character was a BAD GUY." Zach shit out 2 lame ass movies and pushed Trevor's last (crowd funded), already done, movie to the back burner for years after he died. Gave it very little promotion. Fuck that guy.

I couldn't even get halfway through this museum story they covered. Right out the gate its the tropiest shit with "le real monsters are le rich people?!?! :stress:" and them describing the story as "tales from the gas station"-esque, which means to me the structure of the writing is lazy as fuck with no real setup and payoff. Just an excuse to include a bunch of oc wannabe SCPs that the reddit author thought were cool, but without having to write an actual cohesive story for any one of them. Its a shame too, because a story in a museum setting could be fun- I remember when Wendi covered that one museum bit of the Hypnagogic Archive and I enjoyed it for what it was.
 
You don’t need to tell us your villains are assholes when we know because they’re acting like assholes. And the idea that the museum could just get away with killing some of its ultra-rich patrons beggars belief. Shouldn’t that living wall have had some kind of glass casing in front of it? And was Mariette seven feet tall before she got killed? She should’ve been playing in the WNBA!

I feel that it could have been a lot better if it went through another draft or two, although I’m sure that each part got posted separately so the author couldn’t just go back and edit it.

Oh yeah. Real bad. During covid they started doing livestreams. I enjoyed them because of Trevor, he still liked to have fun and be entertaining. Darren too. The other guys would cope and seethe about their old skits. They'd have frequent struggle sessions over Trevor being too edgy. Timmy had regular meltdowns about trans rights. Sam's girlfriend would come on and scream at Trevor. Zach berated Trevor for saying he liked Cumtown because they said slurs. One time Trevor joked he was going to put a sticker on Sam's car that said "Queefmeister" and Sam was almost in tears over how angry he was. Those are just a small handful of examples of how faggy they got. Trevor was based until the end though and the night he died, he said he browsed Kiwi Farms and Zach looked like he was about to have an aneurysm.

Back on topic. The Creepcast museum story was trash. I finished it. The reveal at the end really felt like the author realized "Oh fuck. I need some sort of twist." It was very out of nowhere and not in a fun way. The vibe I got was almost like a Tim Burton or Neil Gaiman fan trying very hard to be whimsical and strange, if that makes sense. It was just obnoxious.
