>that awkward moment where they worry about being “anti-racist” that they slide over the fact that they’re making a little black child marry a little white child
how does this slide over and not receive any pushbacks from executives that run CN?

Because they‘re the ones that are ultimately pushing for this kind of shit, it’s the writers and storyboarders that do it haphazardly and without any sense of subtlety.
I’m not sure what interview it was in but basically Ian JQ stated that CN used to push back on homosexual stuff but the wedding episode in SU opened the floodgates for CN to be more lenient with lgbt stuff being in their shows.
This got glossed over when Tiny Toons teased their reboot.
The current animation GOAT, Genndy Tartakovsky, is making another cartoon for CN (and HBOMax) called Unicorn: Warriors Eternal.
the image squashed for some reason and i cant fix it.
"Throughout history, unicorns have symbolized the virtuous, appearing to ensure that goodness reigns. When the reawakening of our heroes comes too early, they find themselves in the bodies of teenagers. Damaged as a result, their memories of who they are and the history of the unicorn over the centuries have been lost, with some of their magical abilities weakened and fragmented. Not only do they have to protect the world against the prevailing darkness, they have to do it while navigating the unexpected laughs and humor that come with teen angst and emotions."
As usual it looks much better than anything that's coming out right now as TV studios crack the whips on animators to turn their shitty live action scripts into shitty animation scripts. I don't care if it's a hit or miss, I need Genndy to give me whatever the fuck he's taking that keeps him going like the energizer bunny.

The woke shit is bad enough, but the fact that there's a scene in which kids who appear to be in their single-digits are contemplating marriage just comes off as fucking creepy regardless of how you want to look at it. I guess I shouldn't expect anything else from the person who got her start by drawing NSFW Ed Edd and Eddy art.

The description is really curious; how is a faceless corporation going to tell others to check their privilege and “defy racism”? To beat a dead horse, this is the same network that cancelled a show made by a black man and kept his characters off the BLM poster.
I’m starting to wonder if this is actually common and I came from a dumb part of America. But it should be noted that the first part of the PSA was just hamming it up in universe. The weird part comes towards the end when Garnet gives an all knowing wink when she brings it up again.
Honestly, if you cut the PSA right after the kid calls it cheesy, it’s be a decent parody of over the top PSAs from decades past.

On to greener pastures, it seems Genndy is making a fantasy counterpart to Sym Bionic Titan which is always a good thing. This is in addition to the projects he has with Sony like Black Knight and Fixed (action cartoon movie and adult animated comedy respectively).
Ever since Samurai Jack came back this has been Genndy’s career in a nutshell:
Taken from Jazz, 1978 and Greatest Video Hits 1. Click here to buy the DVD with this video at the Official Queen Store: http://www.queenonlinestore.com Subsc...
As a self admitted SU fag, I wonder what you don’t find charming.
