Western Animation - Discuss American, Canadian, and European cartoons here (or just bitch about wokeshit, I guess)

If Bedrock will be about the Bronze Age, will there be an arc where dinosaurs go extinct? If so I guess this is where they'll reference climate change and shit.

Old Cartoon Network would've made original animations for the showdown and had the kids vote on the website each week. Lame.

Also no Johnny Bravo or Samurai Jack? Even more fucking lame.
Samurai Jack is in the hands of Adult Swim, while Johnny Bravo is considered "mean spirited" for today's PC woke era.

OT but Why is everyone so horny for dudes in hats? When I was a tumblr teen (Don’t say anything, I’m ashamed enough.) people were obsessed with Bill Cipher and drew porny humanized versions of him, then it was The Onceler from the Lorax movie, now that same crowd has moved on to Alastor from Hazbin Hotel even though the creators say he’s not even into sex. I don’t get it. What it is about that specific archetype that gets the usual suspects acting like they’re in heat?
One of the few good things Hirsch has done is make Human Bill canonically look like this:

Also, forgive me if this has been posted already, but some leaks about the Total Drama Reboot:

-16 contestants. Canada is around 80% white, 5% native, 7% East-Asian, 7% south Asian, 1% latino and 4% black.
For some reason, at least 25% of the new cast is black, one chick is highlighter yellow, 40% is white, and 30% is brown.
Pretty much all seasons of total drama have 2-5 black characters, which is weird when they always have far less Natives and Asians even though they are bigger demographics in Canada.
-'LatinX' barf
-The black girl is called Nichelle instead of Michelle, which sounds like a slur parody
-A lot of the designs look pretty bland and ugly, moreso that those of season 1
-Scary girl will probably be cringe
-Bowie looks like he's gonna act like a less fashionable and black James Charles
-'Tiktok their way out of a piranha tank and drag race their fiercest gender bending ensembles' barf
-Bowie is obviously gonna have a crush on the masculine black dude in the pink shirt like the flamer he will most likely be
-He will probably get together with said dude in an unrealistic turn of events, as the two 'lgbtq' (aka just gay in most contexts) characters will get together.
Though I've seen that many fans are holding out hope that there's secretly 3 gay characters and that it's the white & racially ambigous jocks that are the gay ship instead, because they would rather see that than the flamboyant black and the macho black, lol.

yeah that sounds about right
I'm completely unsurprised a series as inherently vapid as TDI is doing a reboot like this, but it is really funny to see that the art style is identical to the first series because that's always the one element that changes in other reboots. TDI can't even be assed to put in enough effort to try out a shitty beanface.
A good decision, for once, but also a really funny one that highlights just how creatively bankrupt this franchise is.

C+C has its moments for sure, but I preferred Johnny's antics overall.
I may sound biased because I also love Billy & Mandy, but for me C&C was visually hilarious and even triumphing Ren & Stimpy in some areas. Meanwhile, Johnny Bravo is hilarious in dialogue, writing and character antics.

Imagine sucking cocks in Disney for a long time, gave you a opportunity. Literally wasted all with a mediocre animation and get fucked afterwards.
Dana, you're literally the concept of the modern industry problem in flesh. Please, jump from a risk in a few years to laughing off so hard.
