It's pretty obvious Miguel is gonna get humbled hard in the third film. There's no confirmation it was his fault that the event happened and took his daughter away, it could be something else for all we know.
True, fans do eat that shit up.It's the logical end point of writing for the fandom:
-"trauma" as plot device
-multiverse fanservice and easter egg hunting
-unironically saying the word "thirst trap" when designing a character
It's been so long, I didn't know this show was "furry bait" with those cats working for the villain. That thing actually has its own fansite
It's jaded diehard consoomers will definitely love this without even finding any hint of criticismTrue, fans do eat that shit up.
>pregnant negress fighting bad guysAcross the Spiderverse is the peak of insecure meta commentary, screaming about Miles being Spider-Man like the Dr. Han meme. You can just hear the writers huffing and puffing because that one Nerdrodic tweet lives rent free in their head.
Which one specifically do you mean?that one Nerdrodic tweet lives rent free in their head.
"Peter Parker is Spider-Man. Miles Morales is Miles Morales."Which one specifically do you mean?
Miles Morales isn't even the second Spiderman, that's Ben Reilly. He's at best the third or fourth tier Spiderman."Peter Parker is Spider-Man. Miles Morales is Miles Morales."
God, I can’t stand Jessica Drew in Spider-Verse.>pregnant negress fighting bad guys
i'm never watching it
She's easily the worst part in Across the Spiderverse, and there are a lot of bad things in that same movie that balances a lot of good things.God, I can’t stand Jessica Drew in Spider-Verse.
She’s such an arrogant bitch.
I agree, I hate her and Miguel. She's easily the worst part in Across the Spiderverse, and there are a lot of bad things in that same movie that balances a lot of good things.

Everyone but Peter B and maybe Gwen was a self-righteous a-hole in that film. Miles was propped up to be Spider-Jesus and was willing to risk everyone’s existence to “do his own thing”. Then we have Hobie who just did whatever he wanted. Gwen also had issues, but she was more caught in between everyone’s autism, so she at least gets an excuse.I agree, I hate her and Miguel.
When I look at them, I see two self-righteous a-holes stroking each other’s ego.
I, at least, understood Gwen's motivations and feelings in the film. This cannot be said with Miles, Miguel and especially Jessica Drew. Also on the subject, Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman was well written in both the 1994 series and the early-2000s MTV series. She was not seen as some raceswapped pregnant single mother or some stupid shitEveryone but Peter B and maybe Gwen was a self-righteous a-hole in that film. Dude, Hobie’s a literal anarchist from a totalitarian universe. Of course he does whatever the fuck he wants.Miles was propped up to be Spider-Jesus and was willing to risk everyone’s existence to “do his own thing”. Then we have Hobie who just did whatever he wanted.
Edit: The more I think about this plot, the worse it gets. Literally every Spider has to be -IQ to make anything make sense. They all went along with Miguel for his stupid reason?Dude, Hobie’s a literal anarchist from a totalitarian universe. Of course he does whatever the fuck he wants.
Second of all, Miles is trying to save his father which is something I would do if I was in that boy’s position. Also, I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t listen to some futuristic vampiric mutant who fucked up his life and continues to do so based on some bullshit theory he came up.
